Ministerial Keynote Address — Strengthening Multi-Sectoral Action for NCDs in Africa

During the conference, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, Honourable Coordinating Minister of the Federal Ministry of Health & Social Welfare, delivered a powerful keynote address on “Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the Africa We Want: Why Multi-Sectoral Approaches to Tackling NCDs Are Important.”

His message underscored the urgent need for stronger collaboration across sectors to effectively address the rising burden of non-communicable diseases. He highlighted the role of governance, partnerships, and innovative strategies in accelerating progress toward the SDGs and improving public health outcomes across the continent.

The insights shared reinforced our collective commitment to advancing a healthier, more resilient Africa.

10th Anniversary & 6th Membership Induction Ceremony

On November 24th, we celebrated a remarkable milestone: 10 years of advancing public health leadership alongside the 6th Membership Induction Ceremony of the Academy of Public Health.
