Your liver is like the body’s main cleaner and factory.
Everything you eat, drink, or take into your body passes through it. It cleans the blood, removes harmful substances, stores energy, and helps digest food.
Now imagine this…
If a factory works every single day without proper care, smoke, dirt, and damage will slowly affect the machines. That is similar to what happens in liver disease. The liver becomes weak, inflamed, or damaged because of things like alcohol, infections, too much fat, unhealthy food, drugs, or certain diseases.
At first, the body may not show signs because the liver is very strong.
That’s why many people don’t know they have liver problems early.
But as the damage increases, the person may start noticing:
1 constant tiredness,
2 loss of appetite,
3 stomach pain,
4 swollen stomach,
5 yellow eyes or skin,
6 dark urine,
7 or weight loss.
One dangerous thing about liver disease is that people sometimes ignore the early signs thinking it is just stress, malaria, or ordinary sickness.
For example, fatty liver disease is becoming common today because many people eat too much sugar, oily food, alcohol, and do little exercise. Fat starts building around the liver like grease blocking a machine.
If liver disease is not treated or controlled, it can lead to liver failure or liver cancer...
The good side is this: The liver is one of the few organs that can repair itself when damage is discovered early. That’s why healthy habits matter:
1. drink more water,
2. reduce alcohol,
3. eat healthier foods,
4. avoid too many drugs without prescription,
5. and go for proper medical checkups....
