Meet Omolola Ayeni

Ayeni Omolola is a distinguished entrepreneur and CEO of Wheekanza Investment Limited, specializing in natural skin and hair care products. With a background in Business Administration from the University of Ado Ekiti and a Master's in Finance from the University of Ibadan, Omolola has over a decade of industry experience.

Her company has garnered significant media attention, featuring on platforms like BBC Yoruba, Fresh FM Ado, and Ekiti Radio. Omolola has shared her expertise as a panelist in the Ekiti Unleashed program, sponsored by the Mastercard Foundation and Watson Institute, empowering undergraduates.

As a fellow of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, a prestigious US government exchange alumni program, Omolola inspires and empowers others. Notably, she partnered with Ekiti Online Market Women to train 30 young women in black soap production.

Such a privilege to be interviewed by BBC Yoruba. I took them on the journey of producing Authentic Africa Black Soap exactly the way our forefathers made it.

Black Soap, an indigenous Soap to us is becoming extinct and production is marred with adulteration.

At Pearl Cosmetics, we produce Black Soap using locally sourced materials especially cocoa pods.

Our factory is located in Ekiti State and we are glad about the impact we are making globally and locally.
