Prostate health is something many men don't think about until there's a problem. But taking care of your health shouldn't start when symptoms appear.

Cutting back on red meat and choosing fish rich in omega-3s is a good place to begin, since high red and processed meat intake has been linked to increased prostate cancer risk.

What you drink matters too, easing up on alcohol and caffeine while staying hydrated with water and green tea supports both your bladder and prostate.

Staying active and maintaining a healthy weight round things out. Regular exercise helps regulate hormones tied to prostate health and keeps inflammation down, while carrying excess weight, especially around the midsection, has been linked to a higher risk of more aggressive prostate cancer.

None of these habits replace regular screening. Most prostate issues develop quietly with no early symptoms, which is exactly why routine check-ups from age 40-45 matter so much, they catch what your body won't warn you about in time.

Your prostate health is built in the small decisions. Start with one today.

What you eat can play an important role in supporting a healthy digestive system. Fibre-rich foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes can support regular bowel movements, while yoghurt and other probiotic-rich foods may help maintain a healthy balance of gut bacteria.

Drinking enough water also helps digestion and allows fibre to work effectively. Try adding a variety of these foods to your meals gradually and pay attention to how your body responds.

You cannot catch psoriasis from someone else, even through physical contact or sharing personal spaces. Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory skin condition linked to an overactive immune system, not an infection that spreads from person to person.

Understanding this can help reduce the stigma and encourage people living with psoriasis to seek appropriate care without fear or embarrassment.

Share this post to help someone learn the facts and stop the myths from spreading.

Not every dry, flaky or itchy patch of skin is simply a sign that you need more moisturiser. Psoriasis can cause persistent, scaly patches that may look different from ordinary dry skin and can appear on areas like the elbows, knees, scalp and other parts of the body.

Paying attention to changes that keep returning or do not improve with basic skincare can help you know when to seek professional advice.

Your gut contains trillions of microorganisms that play important roles in digestion and overall health. Probiotics are live microorganisms found in certain foods and supplements that may help support a healthy balance of gut bacteria.

That bloating after meals. The fatigue that coffee doesn't fix. Getting sick more often than your friends. Skin that won't clear up no matter what you put on it. These aren't always separate problems and can all trace back to your gut.

The fix isn't always a supplement. Foods like yoghurt with live cultures, kefir, and fermented staples already in many diets like ogi, kunu, and other fermented grains, naturally support gut balance, often better than a capsule would.
Most people hear "probiotics" and buy the first bottle they see. But not every strain works for every issue, some target digestion, others target immunity, and taking the wrong one for your problem is just an expensive guess.

If you've been dealing with ongoing bloating, fatigue, or digestive discomfort, don't keep guessing. Talk to a doctor, ask what's actually behind it before you spend money trying to fix it blindly.

Taking medicine without proper guidance may seem convenient, but it can put your health at risk. The wrong drug, dose or combination can cause harmful side effects, mask symptoms of a serious condition or contribute to problems like antibiotic resistance. Even familiar medicines can be unsafe when taken incorrectly or for the wrong reason.

Before reaching for medication, speak with a qualified healthcare professional and get the right advice for your symptoms.

Hair loss can have different causes, and the right treatment depends on what is behind it. It could be genetics. It could be a hormone shift. It could be your body telling you something's missing like iron, protein, vitamin D. It could be stress your mind has been carrying longer than you realized. Sometimes it's an underlying health condition that has nothing to do with your hair at all.

Here's the part that matters: you can't treat what you haven't identified. Guessing wastes time and time is the one thing you don't want to lose.
If you've noticed more hair in your brush, your shower drain, or your pillow lately, that's not something to sit with quietly. Talk to a dermatologist or trichologist. They can run the right tests, find the actual cause, and get you on a treatment plan built for you not a generic one. You don't have to figure this out alone.

Fibroids aren’t the end of the story: understanding your treatment options is an important step toward taking control of your health. Fibroids can range from mild to severe, and treatment depends on factors like symptoms, size, and future fertility plans.

Options may include medication, non-invasive procedures, or surgical treatment depending on individual needs. The most important step is getting a proper medical evaluation to guide the right choice.

Speak to a healthcare professional to understand the best option for your situation.

Did you know you don’t have to collect colostrum before your baby arrives? While colostrum is rich in nutrients and antibodies, your body is naturally designed to produce it when your baby needs it.

For most expectant mothers, there is no need to express or store colostrum antenatally unless specifically advised by a healthcare professional. Focus on preparing for your baby without feeling pressured to collect every drop before delivery.
