Today, we look back and remember, 66 years ago, the Union Jack was lowered and the Green-White-Green was raised. That's the result of efforts of leaders like Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Mr. Anthony Enahoro and others.

Today, it seems as though efforts of these heros are in vain but we'll continue to push for a greater country.

Celebrating the Pillars Behind Better Health

World Pharmacists Day is celebrated globally every year on 25 September. Organized by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), this day honors the establishment of the FIP on this date in 1912 and serves to advocate for and promote the vital role that pharmacists play in improving health across the globe.

The celebrations starts from 19–25 September 2026 to overtly encompass the wider pharmacy workforce and partners.

The WHO collaborates with the FIP every year on this campaign to highlight the critical contributions pharmacists make to global public health such as expanding access to essential medicines, reducing medication-related errors, and administering vaccines.

At Wisdom Pharmacy, we celebrate the resilience, dedication and invaluable contributions of pharmacists to the health sector. From expert guidance to patient care, pharmacists play a vital role in keeping communities healthier and safer. Without pharmacists, the healthcare system would simply not be complete.
Today, we honour the professionals who do much more than dispense medicines, they provide knowledge, care and reassurance when people need it most.

In 2007 the United Nations General Assembly resolved to observe 15 September as the International Day of Democracy with the purpose of promoting and upholding the principles of democracy.

For us in Nigeria, Democracy has existed for 27 years since 1999 and as a brand known for quality, fairness and empathy, we call on Nigerians in their various fields to continue to support efforts aimed aimed at improving our democracy especially as as we approach another election cycle.
