This is what we believe at . Empowering healthcare workers beyond the hospital, helping them become innovators and problem solvers in their communities.

Had a great time at the Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) of the Association of Resident Doctors of Federal University of Health Science Teaching Hospital Azare. We spent 1 hour talking about Medical entrepreneurship and innovation for healthcare workers. It was amazing to see both Doctors and Medical students from FUHSA learning, asking questions, and thinking about new ways to create impact.

During the session, we introduced the YOMA Platform as a place where young people can find opportunities, learn new skills, and grow for themselves and also for their children and loved ones.

To make it fun, we asked questions and gave small incentives, sharing a total of $100 with participants who engaged actively. We are excited about what is possible when health meets innovation

We look forward to working closely with UNICEF Nigeria, Generation Unlimited, and Yoma World Platform to reach more young people and create more opportunities across Nigeria.

The theme “Give to Gain” came alive in the simplest way by pouring into each other.

Yesterday at we celebrated International Women’s Day.

At MODIBBO ADAMA UNIVERSITY YOLA (MAU) Student's forum., we sat with brilliant young women in medicine and shared something real: possibility.

No big stages, no noise, honest conversations about purpose, courage, and growth.

We listened to them, we learned, we connected beyond titles and expectations.

Because sometimes, all it takes is one conversation to change a life’s direction. These young women are the future, and they are already becoming. And if we keep giving them space, support, and belief, they will go even further.

Impact does not always need a spotlight. Sometimes, it just needs heart.

Our AMR Champions Team visited IHSAN College of Health Science and Technology Azare for a powerful Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) awareness & Capacity development session and it was a beautiful success.

We engaged the students through presentations, interactive discussions, and pre-and post-test assessments to measure their learning. The energy, the questions, and the excitement from the students made the entire session meaningful.

We appreciate our team members for their dedication, and we thank our partner organizations Triple A, South Centre, Plastics4Pads, Musa Usman Babagari and many others working on AMR across Nigeria for standing with us in this fight. We are building a generation of health professionals who understand AMR and are ready to take action. The fight against AMR starts with awareness and today, we took one more bold step.

Muhammad Abdullahi had an inspiring conversation with Ahmad Shameem, Family Medicine Resident, Federal Teaching Hospital Azare) and Prof. Olarewaju, a Hematologist, on a project idea focused on pregnant women living with sickle cell disease.

Pregnancy is a beautiful journey, but for women battling sickle cell disease, it can be physically, emotionally, and medically challenging. Carrying a baby for nine months while managing pain, complications, and fear is not easy yet many brave women go through it silently.

Our goal is to design a project that supports these women throughout their pregnancy journey through awareness, medical support, and community-based care. Every mother deserves a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby, regardless of her health condition.

We are committed to making a real difference and excited about what is coming.
