TOPIC :DIFFERENT CLASSES OF DIVINE WISDOM
⚓Scripture : Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Understand that in this life we win by wisdom, we succeed by wisdom and as such doors open when we are in possession of the right key of wisdom. Therefore it is necessary for us to have understanding of various classes of wisdom from on high. Today we shall be considering one important class of wisdom and that is the wisdom of how to communicate.

*THE WISDOM OF HOW TO COMMUNICATE:*
Communication is a process of sharing information, ideas, thoughts etc between two parties. It could be verbal or non-verbal! Therefore, the wisdom that is associated with this process is what we refers to as communication wisdom. Many children of God lack this wisdom and as such the relationship that should be maintained via effective communication is lost. There are several families/marriages that is about to collapse right now because this wisdom of how to communicate is lacking.
*What do we mean by wisdom of how to communicate?*
I. It is wisdom inside your mouth as you communicate with people(Lk.21:15). This is the wisdom Jesus promised as his disciples:
*Luke 21: 15. For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist* .

Beloved, if you are a child of God and this wisdom is lacking in your communication then you need to go on your knees and cry out to God passionately for it.
This is what sponsors excellent delivery in speech making.
You need this wisdom as a business man/woman to attract and maintain customers! You need this wisdom as a teacher to communicate your message on every topic excellently such that your students can gain knowledge and understanding of what you have in mind.

Infact, in family life it is more needed to avert unnecessary quarrel here and there. It is one quality that characterized virtous woman. The Bible said:
*Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.*

Beloved, observe the clause "she open her mouth with wisdom"! Permit me to ask you this question, what happens to those around you when you open your mouth? Listen to this inside our mouth is both life and death
*Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.*

So it takes wisdom to permit life to flow through your mouth. Many of us what has been flowing is death because we lack wisdom of how to communicate. No wonder that businesses in your hands is dying, that marriage is dying gradually because what is flowing from our mouth is killing everything around us. It is time to seek for wisdom to turn things around, let life flow out of you as you press for wisdom from above.

This wisdom of how to communicate also extends to beyond oral communication to writen communication. There are those that are good in writing and sending terrible messages that hurts and break people down. Some do it by email or WhatsApp while others by sms. Beloved before you click on send from your phone or computer device check the content of your message. Is it soul lifting or breaking people down? Is it adding to people's faith or subtracting from it by killing their passion, their zeal and love for Jesus.

There are those who cannot bring anybody to church from their neighbourhood because with their mouth they have a poor record of Christian characters. I could remember when we gave our life to Christ newly they will give us megaphone to preach on our street, within our neighbourhood because if truly you are born again the first person to confirm is your neighbour. That practice helps us in a great way to be conscious of how to talk to people in our neighbourhood, it was later I learnt this is wisdom! You see the people you have market Jesus to you are very careful how you talk to them. No abusive words must proceed from your mouth because you want to maintain your identity as a Christian both at home and in your neighbourhood. Beloved, that your brother or sister can follow you to serve Jesus if you possess this wisdom, this why the Bible said:
*Proverbs 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.*

~ I prophesy the release of the wisdom of how to communicate let it be released upon you now in Jesus name.
~ The wisdom of how to talk to your spouse and family members receive it now in Jesus name.
~ From henceforth when you open your mouth people will no longer run away from you because wisdom will flow out of you in Jesus name.

*Assignment* : Check your life, if this wisdom of how to communicate is and then do the needful today.

TOPIC: HOW TO GET WISDOM - A CASE STUDY OF SOLOMON (PART 2)
⚓Scripture: Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! In continuation of what we started yesterday on how to get wisdom following the footsteps of Solomon.

*Who was Solomon?*
Solomon was the son of David, and his mother's name was Bathsheba. He took over the throne of David, his father as the King of Israel! During Solomon reign on the throne, there was no war of any kind because Solomon got wisdom from above, and that's why he could counsel us:
*Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.*

Observe the clause get wisdom - meaning wisdom can be gotten! How did he get his own wisdom?
One night Solomon went to sleep and wake up the following morning a different person, something was transferred, a transaction happened in the realm of the spirit and he encountered a Spirit called wisdom in the dream. However before his encounter there were basic steps he took that landed him in wisdom.

*How did Solomon get wisdom?*
The steps are :
I. Solomon possess a passionate heart that love God(1Kg.3:3).
II. Solomon lived a life of sacrifice for God (1Kg.3:4)
III. Solomon possess a child like attitude (1Kg.3:7). (For more details check yesterday's meditation)

IV. Solomon possess a heart for people :
*1 Kings 3: 8. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude.*

Observe the clause "thy people which thou hast chosen" ! Meaning this people are your people and I need to help them. Solomon had a heart that was people oriented! He was interested in the welfare of people, in this case the people of God.

Beloved, if your interest in life is to please yourself, and not people then God's wisdom may elude you. Everything God will ever bless you with, it is not for your personal interest rather for others. Develop a heart to be a blessing to people and you are the right candidate for wisdom. Solomon was able to walked into wisdom because personal ambition died, his selfishness died but his interest is now in the welfare of others. So if we must contact what Solomon contacted which is the spirit of wisdom, we must also walk in the foot steps of Solomon. Let your thinking be how to help others stand and not pull them down, how to help them move forward and not backward, how to help them progress and not stagnated. The Spirit of wisdom is looking for men who are interested in other people's welfare.

V. Solomon sincerely acknowledge his lack of wisdom:
*1 Kings 3: 7. And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.*

Observed again the clause "I know not how to go out or come in"! And we understand that wisdom is knowing how to do and what to do at the right time. So invariably Solomon is saying I lack wisdom. There are so many of us who lack wisdom but shift our attention to mundane things such as cars, building or the heads of our enemies. Infact, Solomon never bothered if he was surrounded by enemies because he understood that if he lay hold on wisdom, he can always handle all his enemies. Don't concentrate all your energy fighting your enemy when you should pursue the lack of wisdom in your life. If you are finding it difficult to get direction, know for sure, wisdom is lacking. The lack of winning strategy in any area of your life is traceable to lack of wisdom. Rather than wasting your energy, concentrate on how to get wisdom.

Beloved God is waiting for you to admit your lack of wisdom but you have explained it away. Rather than focusing on the wrong things while not acknowledge your lack of wisdom.? Do you know that lack of results and progress in life is an indication that wisdom is lacking ? All the fighting and quarrelling in your family is as a result of lack of wisdom! The recycling of pains and repetition of failure is a clear sign that you lack wisdom. It is time to shift your attention from blaming people to yourself and acknowledge what is missing in your life.

VI. A sincere request for wisdom :
2 *Chronicles 1: 10. Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?*

Solomon did not only admit his lack of wisdom, he also requested for it!

Beloved, it is not enough to bemoan your lack of a thing but do nothing about it. You may complain of your lack of wisdom but that does not change the fact that until actions are taken nothing will happened. The happening in our lives is a response to actions taken in the past. Nothing will ever change with time if no action is taken. So, if you have sincerely observed your life and discovered wisdom is missing kindly go on your knees and ask God. He will not deny you of wisdom. He has rightly said:
*James 1: 5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.*

In summary, Solomon got wisdom because he loved the LORD, lived a life of sacrifice, possessed a tender heart of a child, possessed heart for people, acknowledged his lack of wisdom and then ask God for it. So one night he slept and woke up full of wisdom. So shall you sleep and wake up with wisdom as you follow the footsteps of Solomon in the name of Jesus.

*Remember this* : Heaven is real and hell is real! Eternity lies ahead every man! Where will you spend yours? Jesus loves you, give your heart to Jesus today.
*Prayer points:*
~ Father, thank you for your word to me today,
~ Father, I receive grace to help people, to acknowledge my lack of wisdom and to demand for it in my life in Jesus' name.
*Prophetic Declaration :*
~ I prophesy as you follow the footsteps of Solomon, you will sleep only to wake up as an embodiment of wisdom in Jesus' name.
~ The Spirit of wisdom that will catarpault you to un- imaginable height receive it now in Jesus name.

*Assignment:* Develop a hungry heart for wisdom, and you will be satisfied with it.

TOPIC: HOW TO GET WISDOM - A CASE STUDY OF SOLOMON
⚓Scripture: Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Today, we shall be looking at the life of a man that epitomized wisdom and how he got wisdom, his name is Solomon.

*Who was Solomon?*
Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba. He took over the throne of David his father as King of united kingdom of Israel and he enjoyed peace and several open doors all through his reign because he knows the pathway that leads to wisdom. David his father fought 66 battles but Solomon lived a battle free life because he was lavishly blessed with wisdom from above. He wrote 3,000 Proverbs and 1,005 songs (1Kg.4:32) such that all the nations around him were willing to submit to his leadership. This is the man that God inspired to instruct us to get wisdom (Prov.4:7).

*How did Solomon get wisdom and understanding?*
A careful study of the life of Solomon reveals the following steps of how Solomon get wisdom:
I. Solomon possess a heart that is passionately in love with God. The Bible said:
*1 Kings 3:3 And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high .*

Observed from this scripture that Solomon's first love was God not women or money! His love for God was obvious in his service as served the lord with dedication.

Beloved, if what you desire is wisdom like that of Solomon then your love for God must not be questionable! And if you claim to love God and you don't love what God loves, then your love for God is questionable. God loves souls, He wants all men saved! So you profess to love God then love soul winning, be interested in the matters of the kingdom of God in ensuring the kingdom is established in the heart of men. It must also show in your service to God. Then your love for God must affect the way you give to God and your trust in Him because whom you love, you will trust. If you can not trust God then you don't really love Him.

II. Solomon lived a life of sacrifice unto God (1Kg.3:4): The second step Solomon took was sacrificial giving to God. There's nobody who was as sacrificial as Solomon when it comes to giving offerings to God. Remember we just spoke about his love for God. So Solomon was not giving to bribe God neither was he giving because he had too much riches! Rather he gave as a result of his love for God. Immediately Solomon finished offering his sacrifice, the same night God showed up(1Kg.3:5).

Beloved, when sacrifice is mixed with love for God usually there will be a response from heaven! Many will say but pastor I have given sacrificially at one time or the other yet no response! Well, check your love tank. It is possible you were not doing it because you love God! It is possible you gave to enjoy the applause of men or you gave with a gambling mentality. If it is love for God plus your sacrificial giving then expect an open heaven. There are things you don't need to pray about, just love God and be sacrificial to God then watch out to see God arise on your behalf. So it is with the matter of wisdom, if you desire wisdom there are sacrifices you must make for the Spirit of wisdom to rest upon you.

III. Solomon possess a child like attitude :Our attitudes matters a lot when it has to do with recieving wisdom. God searches the heart , for the Bible said:
*Jeremiah 17: 9. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10. I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.*

So, if God find out the content of your heart that it is not good, you might be denied what you are asking for now until you are able to correct your heart content. As for Solomon, he had a correct heart by putting on the heart of a child, he said:
*1 Kings 3: 7. .. : and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.*

Solomon had the right attitude before God and that is the attitude of a little child! He understands his lack of wisdom! He understands wisdom is knowing what to do and how to do it, Solomon simply say I don't know what to do! Imagine Solomon already installed as king yet kneeling before the Lord, threw away his kingship regalia and said "I am a little child "! He didn't tell God I am a king of Israel. This means our attitudes affect our reception. There are those who feel they have arrived, yet they know nothing! There are those who need wisdom but pretend as if they don't need it.

Beloved! Let God know you are a child who needs His wisdom. Shun the idea of "I'm an adult, at least I know what to do," stop the feeling that "I'm an educated person!" When it has to do with the divine wisdom, your education can not help you! Many have entered marriage they shouldn't have entered because of lack of wisdom and with this feeling that I'm an adult, some had gone where they ought not to go and today they are regretting it.

*Remember this* : Heaven is real and hell is real, where will you spend eternity is up to you! But one thing is certain there is eternity ahead of every man! Jesus loves you, give him your heart today.

~ Father thank you for your word to me today,
~ Father, I receive grace to love you, be sacrificial and develop a child like attitude today in Jesus name.
*Prophetic Declaration :*
~ I prophesy as you follow the footsteps of Solomon, you will sleep only to wake up as an embodiment of wisdom in Jesus name.
~ The wisdom you need to change level, receive it now in Jesus name.

*Assignment* : Ask the Holy Spirit to break you to the point where you develop child like attitude because the Spirit of wisdom is looking for the brokenhearted, those with attitudes of a child.

TOPIC HOW DOES ASSOCIATION BRINGS WISDOM?
⚓Scripture; Proverbs 13: 20. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! In continuation of our subject on association and how it promote/support the fear of God, we did established that if you associate with God fearing people, you too will become God fearing eventually. And you can not walk in the fear of God and be void of wisdom! Wisdom travels anywhere there's fear of God. So walk or associate with wise people and you will eventually becomes wise! No man becomes wealthy by living an isolated life. It takes a network of solids association with the wealthy for you to maintain a certain level of wealth! Go and ask the wealthy, they will tell you how much they valued association. So edit the association around you now and it will amaze you that you are where you are now because of the people you've associated with in the past and where you will be tomorrow is also define by whom you are currently associating with now! Ruth associated with Naomi and ended up becoming the grand mother of David. Lot associated with Abraham for a while and he became blessed when he disconnected from Abraham the blessing also disconnected from him! He later pitched his tent near S***m and later found himself in S***m! There are young ladies that enter into a relationship and died before their time because the relationship was toxic. I pray for you; May you obtain grace to cut off from your life every toxic relationship in the name of Jesus.

*How does association bring Wisdom?*
Association support the fear of the LORD that brings wisdom through the following:
I. By determining what your life with be associated with
II. By influencing your choices and preference.(check yesterday meditation for more details)

III. By determining what depth of wisdom you can access.! It was our association with Jesus Christ that bring us salvation! It is our relationship with Jesus the fountain of wisdom that determine our depth of wisdom! So also our being blessed in life depends on whom you hang around:
*Psalm 1: 1. Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.*

Observe what the scripture is saying here "walketh not" meaning your refusal to walk by the advice/counsel of the ungodly. "Standeth not"- meaning don't run your life with the principle of sinners and don't even sit down with the scornful, then you will be blessed!

Beloved, do you desire wisdom? Change your friends from those who don't fear God to those that fear God! Choose an association that is healthy to your purpose of existence here on earth. There are those who associate based on culture or tribal sentiment. Some because of childhood friend or because they attended the same school! Please understand today these are not yardsticks of choosing your association! Some are in abusive relationship right now because of wrong mindset. It is time to separate your life from every ungodly association that is damaging your life.

IV. By determining the flow of wisdom because when you associate with corrupted mind, it has the tendency to corrupt your decision and when your decision is corrupt, the outcome of your life will also be corrupt and as such wisdom will be far from you. The Bible said:
*1 Corinthians 15: 33. Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.*

There are those who live a double standard lives - part of them is with Christ and part of them is in the world! And they do so because of those that surrounds them as friends. They value their friends so much that that can denied Jesus when they are with their friends.

Beloved, you know the inner struggle within you when your friend is forcing you to do what is against your faith but you lack strength to turn down their offer. It is time to cut off from such friends. If you company with such person your life will eventually be corrupted. If you associate with an immoral person, it wouldn't be long, you also will join in the band of immorality. Similarly, if you company with thief, drunkard, wife abusers etc your life will reproduce the same kind. I was in a family to reconcile two couples who were trying to separate their marriage. The husband of the lady narrated that the sudden change in behaviour of his wife began when she started company with divorcees! Hmmm! And now she is willing to live her husband and join her friends to live a single life despite having four children for the man! This is what you see when you company with people with wrong mindset.

Beloved, do you desire wisdom, disconnect from any one who does not have the fear of God whether in the same church with you or not! Keep away from fools who do not value what you value. Don't even think of marrying someone with a corrupt value system because he/she will eventually corrupt your value system.

VI. By determining the speed of your life or the stagnation of your life. It gives you wisdom that guarantee speed and upliftment in life. Where you are today is a product of the association you kept years ago! If you can have a fast track of the people you have associated with for the past few years, you will discover your life is gradually becoming like one of them. You cannot company with a millionaire and not think like them! So also you cannot company with wise men and not become the next person to be wise!

In conclusion, your access to wisdom will largely be affected by whom you associate with, if the individual has the fear of God or not because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom!

*Remember this:* Heaven is real and hell is real! Those that reject Jesus now will have themselves to blame tomorrow.
*Prayer points:*
~ Father thank you for your word to me today.
~ Father, I received grace to associate wisely in the name of Jesus.
*Prophetic Declaration:*
~ I prophesy wisdom from on high by virtue of your assocation with this devotional receive it now in the name of Jesus.
~ May you never company with Jonah in your destiny's journey in Jesus name.

*Assignment:* Settle down and edit all your relationships. Disconnect from toxic and ungodly relationships from your life.

TOPIC: ASSOCIATION - FACTORS THAT SUPPORT THE FEAR OF GOD
⚓Scripture :Proverbs 13: 20. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! We have established that wisdom is birth by the fear of God and there are factors that support the fear of God that bring wisdom. We shall be looking at the factor of association today.

*What are the factors that support the fear of God?*
I. Maintaining a tender conscience
II. Practìce the art of meditation

III. Associating with the right mindset! Association is a vital key to the fear of God because if you associate with people that don't have the fear of God, you will likely not have the fear of God too and without the fear of God forget about wisdom from above. There are those who does not have regards for God, no fear of God before their eyes if such a person becomes your friend or partner either in business or marriage, your life will be dried of wisdom, because wisdom is transferable through association!

*What do we mean by association?*
A. Association means the company you keep! It mean the people that surround you, the kind of friends you keep and those who are in strategic relationship with you!
B. It also means what you give your time to, the preacher you listen to, the books you read, the television programme you watch and the films you watch.

*How does association bring Divine wisdom?*
Association brings Divine wisdom by promoting our fear of God through the following ways:
I. By determining what accompanies you in life:
*Proverbs 13: 20. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed* .

If you move around with nine persons who are wise, get ready you will soon be the tenth wise person because the Spirit of Wisdom can be transferred from person to person through association. Everyone who wants to be successful in life must associate with successful people! If you ignore these instructions and company with failures or fools, you will soon be a failure and in the long run be destroyed. Lot associated with Abraham and he became blessed by association(Gen.13:1-2)!

II. By influencing your choices and preferences, this is why the Bible said:
*2 Corinthians 6: 14. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 17. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,*

The reason why the word of God says if you are light don't fellowship with darkness is because over time that darkness will extinguishes your light!

Beloved sister if you are firebrand you don't need to be in courtship with a brother who is ice water because your fire will soon go off. You are a Christian what are you doing with a Moslem man as husband to be? The Bible said:
*Proverbs 27: 17. Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.*

If you are a wood and you are trying to sharpen an iron, definitely the wood will suffer untold damages! If however you are iron and your friend/ fiancee is iron good and fine! The Bible is saying materials composition matters when making your choice of friendship! Love is commanded but friendships is by choice. Your friends has a great impact on the decision of your life especially if it happens to be your spouse. The number one reason for Ahab failure is because of the choice of the wife he married. The Bible said:
*1 Kings 21: 25. But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.*

Please observed the clause " whom Jezebel his wife stirred up." So the negatives influence on the life of Ahab was from the wife! Probably Ahab wouldn't have gone into idolatry if not for association with wrong partner!

Beloved, do you desire wisdom? Then there must be a separation between you and wrong association. This includes person, where you visit, the films you watch, the books you read and the people you listen to.

*Remember this* : Heaven is real and hell is real! Make a decision of where to spend eternity today! Jesus loves you.
*Prayer points* :
~ Father thank you for your word to me today,
~ Lord, I receive grace to keep the right association in Jesus name.
*Prophetic Declaration :*
~ I prophesy the release of grace to keep the right association in the name of Jesus.
~ Receive grace to end that relationship that may land you in trouble tomorrow.

*Assignment* : Check your life and delete the wrong relationships from your life today because your association determines what will associate with you.
