Herbal Hair Growth Shampoo

Ingredients
β€’ 1 avocado seed (dried and crushed)
β€’ 2 tablespoons fresh ginger (sliced or crushed)
β€’ 2 cinnamon sticks
β€’ 1 tablespoon whole cloves
β€’ 2–3 sprigs fresh rosemary (or 2 tbsp dried)
β€’ 3 cups water
β€’ 1 cup unscented liquid castile soap or mild shampoo base
β€’ Optional: 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel
β€’ Optional: 10 drops rosemary essential oil

How to Make the Shampoo

Step 1: Make the Herbal Tea (Infusion)
1. Add water, avocado seed, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and rosemary to a pot.
2. Bring to a gentle boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 25–30 minutes.
4. Turn off heat and allow to cool completely.
5. Strain out all solids.
(You should have a dark, fragrant herbal tea.)

Step 2: Turn It Into Shampoo
1. Pour 1 cup of the cooled herbal tea into a bowl.
2. Add 1 cup liquid castile soap or shampoo base.
3. Add aloe vera gel and essential oil (optional).
4. Stir slowly to avoid foaming.
5. Transfer to a clean shampoo bottle.

How to Use
1. Wet hair thoroughly.
2. Apply shampoo directly to the scalp.
3. Massage gently with fingertips for 1–2 minutes.
4. Leave on scalp for 2–3 minutes to allow the herbs to work.
5. Rinse thoroughly.
6. Follow with conditioner or moisturizing treatment.

Use 1–2 times per week.

Storage
β€’ Store in the refrigerator for up to 7–10 days
(because it contains fresh herbs and no preservatives).
β€’ Shake gently before use.
