Yesterday, 17/12/2021, these Beautiful Set of Students graduated from the WELA’s Institute Makeup And Gele Department.
Oh what a Joy I felt yesterday!☺️
And even with my sudden busy schedule, I definitely couldn’t miss their Graduation Ceremony!
I felt soooo Proud of these Ones and I won’t even take the Glory for how far they’ve come, No I won’t. I return Absolutely All Glory back to God🙌🏽 for bringing them this far...

Their Training was for a Period of 6 Months which means these Students have been with me as their Instructor, since June....
Did you know they came in as 10 Students, only 6 of them eventually made it to the finish line...
The various hurdles they had to cross, the early morning classes, learning and mastering both the Theory and Practical aspects of this Skill, buying makeup products, practical Tests and Exams, but they were dogged and they made it through!

💥Progress! Progress!! Progress!!! Is all I see with my Students and yes, they are at different levels of progress as we all learn different and catch up at different paces, but still I’ll celebrate every single one of them for their visible progress...
This is One Month of growth!
And they be making me sooo proud!☺️

🤦🏽‍♀️Guys! Let’s Talk about Our Lovely Igbo Brides and the Rush that usually accompanies their Second Outfit/Appearance....
After their first dance in and all of that, they come back and then everyone is suddenly in a hurry🤦🏽‍♀️ especially when she has family around...Everyone is talking at the same time and telling you how the Elders and all the whole village people are waiting🙄
Then as a Makeup Artist, I need to tie her Gele, change her lipstick maybe or atleast calmly take pictures and videos of her second look But No, they will rush us on everything even when the Bride still wants to calmly make a Video, they’ll literally not allow you But Anyways We Mooooove!😅
All in All, We still get the work done and We are happy that even with the rush, Our Brides still stay looking Dashing💕
