General Hospital Ijede was delighted to receive the Honourable Commissioner II (HSC), Dr. Omolaja Olusola Odunuga, during his official visitation to the facility on Tuesday, 18th August 2026.

He was warmly received by the Medical Director, Dr. Olumuyiwa Balogun-Oluwa, Heads of Departments, members of the Hospital Management Committee, and members of staff.

The visit featured an overview of the facility, an introductory meeting, a guided tour of the hospital, and an engaging Town Hall meeting with staff.

We are grateful for the Commissioner’s encouraging words and commendation of our facility, particularly his appreciation of the cleanliness and services we provide despite our space constraints.

It was a great opportunity to showcase our commitment to quality healthcare delivery, teamwork, professionalism and excellent service to our community. 💙👏🏽
