Hygiene in Dog Kennels Cont;
The Kennel:
The hygiene of your dogs is very important. Good healthy environment will produce healthy and agile dog.
1. The kennel should be built to discourage proliferation of parasites. The floor and the walls of the kennel must be plastered. 2. The floor must not be slippery and it must be washable.
3. The flooring should be done in away that it cannot retain water.
4. It should be spacious enough to give room for both height and length of the dog and also allows the dog move freely.
5. The kennel should be cool.
The kennel should be high enough to accommodate the heigth of the handler.
6. The surrounding of the kennel should be clean always.
7. The kennel should be washed everyday with soap and disinfectant.

Hygiene in a Dog Kennel.
Personal Hygiene of the Dog Handler and Care Giver.
The hygiene of a dog start with the handler or owner of the Dog. First: he should be someone that does not like dirt or dirty environment. He is conscious of the possibility of getting infected through the dog, therefore ensures perfect control of sources of infections.
Second, the handler must at all times wear personal protective tools such as gloves, coverall, boots, boots and nose cover.
