This is the final piece of this series...
And the whole essence of this series is to enlighten you.. my glasses folk(and anyone that cares to read this) on simple tips to maximize your glasses in ways that not only improve your sight, but your looks aswell.
Tonight, we'll be talking about oblong(or long) face shape.
And most people with this face shape make a very major mistake...
They're unaware of their face shape...
So they choose frames that make their face look longer instead of more balanced.
Some characteristics of an oblong face shape are:
🔹 A face that's noticeably longer than it is wide
🔹 Straight cheek lines
🔹 A forehead, cheekbones, and jawline that are similar in width
🔹 A gently rounded or slightly squared chin
In order to achieve balance, try out these frames:
✅ Oversized Frames
✅ Square Frames
✅ Round Frames
✅ Wayfarer Frames
✅ Frames with Taller Lenses
These styles add visual wideness… breaking up the length of the face, and create a more proportionate appearance.
Frames to be careful with:
❌ Small Frames
❌ Narrow Rectangular Frames
❌ Tiny Rimless Frames
These styles can make your face appear even longer and narrower, throwing off your facial balance.
If your face naturally has more length, your frames should introduce width—not more length.
That's the difference between glasses that simply fit...
..and glasses that truly flatter your face.
If you've judiciously followed this series to this point…Omo, you sef try.
But...I’d like to know something 👇
