If you do any of the things I'm about to mention below...even just one, then you most probably need glasses. ASAP!!

No need for long talk... let's get to the point!

If you:

📌move your phone a little closer when using it
📌squint your eyes at distant writing.
📌increase the brightness on your screen often.
📌sit closer to the TV in order to see better
📌avoid reading things from a distance.
📌rub your eyes after concentrating for a while.

Please visit an eye clinic if u fall in any of these categories.

You do not want to take chances. Not with your eyes.

YOUR EYES CAN BE DAMAGED BY THE SUN… EVEN WHEN YOU FEEL COMPLETELY FINE.

I know some might find this statement surprising...but it's true!

The crazy part is, you won't even notice a thing

You can spend years outdoors without proper eye protection and feel perfectly fine.

Unknown to you that the repeated UV(ultraviolet)exposure contributes to long-term eye problems.

One of them being..
CATARACTS

A cataract happens when the natural lens inside your eye gets cloudy.

It can gradually cause:
- Blurry or cloudy vision
- Increased sensitivity to light
- Difficulty seeing at night
- Halos around lights
- Faded or yellowish colours
- Frequent changes in your glasses prescription(if you wear one)

And yes, long-term sunlight(or uv rays)exposure is one of the factors associated with cataract development.

But cataracts aren't your only concern.
Repeated sunlight exposure can also contribute to problems such as

photokeratitis—a painful UV injury to the surface of the eye

and pterygium, an abnormal growth on the eye's surface.

The scary part?
Your eyes don't have to hurt before you start taking UV exposure seriously.
The damage can accumulate gradually.

So the next time you're outside under that bright sun, don't just think:
"It's hot today."

Think:
"What am I doing to protect my eyes?"

And you can do that simply by wearing a sunglass.

Yes! Don't treat sunglasses as nothing more than a fashion accessory.

UV-protective sunglasses can play an important role in reducing your eyes' exposure to UV radiation.
