DG DMCSA RECEIVES DAKATA PATRIOTS ON COURTESY VISIT, PLEDGES COLLABORATION TO STRENGTHEN HEALTHCARE DELIVERY
The Director General of the Kano State Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency (DMCSA), Pharm. Gali Sule, on Tuesday received the executive members of Dakata Patriots on a courtesy visit to his office.
While welcoming the delegation, the Director General gave an overview of the Agency's mandate, evolution, and core activities, highlighting the remarkable achievements recorded by the Agency under the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf over the past three years. He emphasized the government's commitment to improving access to quality healthcare through strengthened pharmaceutical supply chain management and other strategic interventions.
Pharm. Gali Sule reaffirmed the Agency's readiness to collaborate with community-based associations and other relevant stakeholders in advancing healthcare service delivery and promoting healthier communities across State.
Earlier, the Chairman of Dakata Patriots, Ibrahim Isyaku, stated that the purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the association to the Agency and explore areas of mutual collaboration.
He explained that Dakata Patriots is a community-based organization established six years ago and has remained actively engaged in humanitarian and community development initiatives. According to him, the association organizes medical outreach programmes, supports orphans and out-of-school children to return to school, and conducts public enlightenment campaigns aimed at combating drug abuse and other social vices.
