HSG means Hysterosalpingography.
It is a special X-ray examination used to look at the inside of the uterus and the fallopian tubes.

An HSG can help:
✅Check whether the fallopian tubes are open or blocked
✅Examine the shape and structure of the uterus
✅Investigate some causes of difficulty getting pregnant
✅Assess the uterus and tubes after certain fertility-related procedures
Who may need an HSG?
It may be recommended for women who:
💥Have been trying to conceive without success
💥Are being investigated for possible tubal blockage
💥Have a history of certain pelvic infections or pelvic surgery
💥Have had some recurrent pregnancy losses, depending on their doctor's assessment
💥 Are undergoing fertility evaluation or treatment
Important: HSG is not a test every woman needs. A doctor or fertility specialist determines whether it is appropriate based on the individual's history and symptoms.
