If you're finding it hard to talk about your business online, this is for you.

1. Start with what your customer is struggling with.
Don’t begin with your product, begin with their pain. Talk about what they are going through daily.

2. Talk like you’re speaking to one person.
Forget “audience.” Imagine one customer in front of you and speak directly to them.

3. Keep it simple, not perfect.
You don’t need big English or long grammar. Just explain what you sell and how it helps in a clear way.

4. Focus on benefits, not features.
Don’t just say what your product is, say what it does for them.

5. End with a clear direction.
Don’t assume they know what to do next. What action do you want them to take?indicate it.

If you're doing this everyday,
You'd be the name registered in people's mind.

Your kind of business may be what is slowing down your sales.

Before you get angry, read this carefully.

Not every business sells at the same speed.

For example:

Someone selling wigs can make sales within a few hours of posting because wigs are relatively affordable and many people can buy on impulse.

But someone selling land or houses may need weeks or even months before a customer finally pays because real estate is a high-ticket product that requires more trust, more consideration, and a bigger financial commitment.

This is why comparing your sales to someone in a completely different industry can be frustrating.

The question is not:

Why am I not selling as fast as them?

The question is:

What is normal for my kind of business?

Different businesses have different buying cycles.

Some products are bought instantly.

Some products require follow-up, education, and relationship-building before a customer is ready to buy.

Understanding this helps you set realistic expectations and create the right marketing strategy for your business.

Sometimes, your business isn't failing.

You're simply expecting a real estate business to move at the speed of a wig business.

Good morning all

Many women are waiting for one viral post.

Meanwhile, sales grow more from consistency than virality.

One customer today. Two tomorrow. Referral next week.

That’s how businesses grow.

Not every successful seller became popular overnight.

Dear you,

If you think WhatsApp Status is where you will make daily sales alone, you are limiting yourself.

WhatsApp is not where strangers come to buy from you.
It is where people who already know you come to decide.

So if your only strategy is posting on status and hoping for sales every day, you will get tired quickly.

Because your audience on WhatsApp is small and mostly familiar faces.

And familiar faces don’t buy every day.

To make consistent sales, you need strangers.

And strangers don’t come from WhatsApp.

They come from bigger platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

That is where attention is.

That is where new people discover you.

Then WhatsApp comes in as the closing ground.

So instead of depending only on status posts, build a system:

Use social media to attract strangers.
Use WhatsApp to warm and convert them.

When you understand this, sales stop being “hope-based”

And become a structure you can actually control.

Yesterday, we learnt about the different kinds of audience:

1. Cold Audience
2. Warm Audience
3. Hot Audience

Today, let's talk about how to nurture your warm audience.

A warm audience is made up of people who already know you.

They follow your page.
They watch your content.
They engage with your posts.
Some have even sent inquiries before.

The mistake many business owners make is constantly chasing new people while ignoring those who are already paying attention.

So, how do you nurture your warm audience?

1. Show up consistently

People buy from people they remember.

If you disappear for weeks, your audience may forget about you.

Stay visible through your posts, videos, stories, and updates.

2. Educate more than you sell

Don't make every post a sales post.

Teach something useful.

Share tips, lessons, experiences, and insights related to your niche.

When people learn from you, they begin to trust you.

3. Share proof

Show testimonials.

Share customer feedback.

Post success stories.

People feel more confident buying when they see evidence that others have benefited.

4. Tell stories

Facts inform, but stories connect.

Share your journey, challenges, lessons, and experiences.

Stories make people feel closer to your brand.

5. Engage with them

Reply to comments.

Answer messages.

Ask questions.

Start conversations.

Relationships grow through interaction.

6. Stay valuable

Keep giving people reasons to follow you.

Inspiration.
Education.
Entertainment.
Solutions.

The more value you provide, the stronger the relationship becomes.

(You can do all the above in a WhatsApp group or telegram group)

Remember:

A warm audience is like a seed that has already been planted.

You don't need to plant it again.

You simply need to water it consistently until it grows into a customer.

You've been hearing about audience, but do you know there are different kinds of audiences?

1. Cold Audience
These are people who do not know you, your brand, or your product. They have never interacted with your content before.

At this stage, your goal is not to sell immediately. Your goal is to get their attention, build trust, and create awareness.

2. Warm Audience
These are people who already know you. They follow your page, watch your videos, read your posts, or engage with your content occasionally.

They are interested, but they are still evaluating whether to buy from you.

At this stage, your goal is to educate, nurture, and show proof that your solution works.

3. Hot Audience
These are people who are ready to buy. They have asked for the price, sent you a DM, clicked your link, or shown serious interest in your offer.

At this stage, your goal is to make the buying process easy and remove any final objections.

A mistake many people make online is trying to sell to a cold audience the same way they would sell to a hot audience.

You don't propose marriage on the first date.

First, people need to know you.
Then, they need to trust you.
Finally, they will be ready to buy from you.

The more you understand the type of audience you are talking to, the easier selling becomes.

The 3Cs of Starting to Sell Online

1. Clarity 📌
Be clear about:

What you are selling

Who you are selling to

The problem you are solving

If people don't understand what you do, they won't buy.

2. Content
Create content that:

Educates

Builds trust

Shows your expertise

Makes people aware of your offer

Your content is your online salesperson.

3. Conversion
Learn how to turn attention into sales.

Make offers

Write persuasive captions

Follow up with prospects

Tell people how to buy

Visibility without conversion is just noise.

In summary:
👉 Get clear on what you sell.
👉 Create content that attracts people.
👉 Convert attention into customers.

Clarity + Content + Conversion = Sales.

How can you start selling online?

Start simple. Don’t overthink it.

1. Decide what you want to sell,
a product or a service.

2. Find where your buyers are
WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or marketplaces.

3. Set up a simple page or profile that clearly shows what you sell.

4. Take clear pictures or explain your offer in a simple way.

5. Start talking about it
post, tell people, show up consistently.

6. When someone shows interest, respond fast and guide them on how to pay.

7. Deliver well and don’t disappear after payment.

8. Repeat the process every day.

Selling online is not complicated.
The real work is showing up consistently even when nobody is clapping yet.

Start small. Start with what you have. Start now.

Thank you

Clarity is profitable.

It helps your online presence because people know you for something.

Let me explain.

If I ask you today, Who is that woman that sells akara in your area?

There's a high chance you'll remember her immediately.

Why?

Because she's known for akara.

Now imagine she sells akara today, fixes phones tomorrow, teaches makeup next week, and starts talking about farming the week after.

People will struggle to describe what she does.

The same thing happens online.

Many people are posting every day, but nobody can clearly say what they do.

When people visit their page, they leave with more questions than answers.

And when people are confused, they don't follow.

They don't engage.

They don't buy.

Clarity helps people understand you quickly.

It helps them know why they should pay attention to your content.

It helps them know whether you can solve their problem.

The clearer you are, the easier it is for people to remember you.

And the easier it is to remember you, the easier it is to recommend you.

That's why clarity is profitable.

Because people buy from people they understand.

If your message is clear, your marketing becomes easier.

Your content becomes easier.

Your sales become easier.

Your audience grows faster.

Not because you're the smartest person online.

But because people understand exactly what you do.

One way to sell to people is to hack the myth.

Every industry has beliefs people hold onto, some are true, some are outdated, and some are completely wrong.

The question is:

What's the myth about your product, service, or industry?

Say it out before your audience does.

For example:

📌 Weight Loss Industry
Myth: You must starve yourself to lose weight.
Truth: Sustainable weight loss comes from better habits, not punishment.

📌 Graphic Design
Myth: "Canva has killed graphic design."
Truth: Tools don't replace creativity. They simply make ex*****on easier

When you challenge a common belief, people pay attention.

Why?

Because humans are naturally curious when they hear something that goes against what they've always believed.

That is how you attract attention without sounding salesy.

People don't just buy products. They buy new ways of thinking.

Find the myth. Challenge it. Replace it with the truth. Then show them how your product or service helps them get the result they want.
