WORLD VITILIGO DAY/25th June
Vitiligo is a disease that causes loss of skin color in patches. The discolored area usually get bigger with time. The condition can affect the skin on any part of the body. It can also affect the hair and the inside of the mouth.
Vitiligo is often a life long condition. Although it canāt be cured, there are measures you can take to potentially treat it and prevent it from worsening which include eating a healthy diet.
Some foods that happen to be helpful for vitiligo are bananas, apples, leafy greens such as kale or romaine lettuce, chick peas, root vegetables especially beet, carrots, radishes, figs, and dates.
