GOD DID IT🙏🏻😭
About five weeks ago, Customs placed an entire shipment of mine on hold. A whole container carrying so much of what I need to run my business: products, containers, jars, bottles, packaging and branding materials.
We submitted every document that was requested, but weeks passed and nothing moved.
I was devastated.
I’ve seen people come online crying because their goods were held by Customs for months, sometimes even longer, and I remember telling God, “This will not be my portion.”
Our Mid-Summer Sale came and went, and my shipment was still not released. We even had to source alternative containers just so we could package and ship some of our face creams because, regardless of what was happening behind the scenes, I refused to let our customers down.
After my birthday, I went on a three-day prayer and fasting, and I made a promise to God:
“Lord, if You make a way for me and my shipment is released before my son’s first birthday, I will help a struggling single mother start a business — something that can help her provide for herself and her child.”
And GOD DID IT. 😭🙏🏽
Just FOUR DAYS before my baby boy turns ONE, my shipment has been released! 🥹🙌🏽
A promise is a promise.
