FULL STORY; I never knew what Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) was until 2022, when my world turned upside down.
After losing a pregnancy that year, my body began to change in ways I couldn’t understand😢sudden weight gain around my face, hips, and stomach, and then my period completely disappeared. For months, .
I held on to hope, convinced I might be pregnant again because of the nausea, breast tenderness, bloating, and cramps. But test after test only broke my heart nothing nothing😭.
Month after month passed. 8 whole months without a period. Doctors prescribed birth control to “jumpstart” my cycle, I took the pill for 7days after which my period showed up once, then vanished again. Omor My hope was slipping away..
Then one morning, the pain became unbearable. Severe cramps rushed me to the emergency room and After multiple tests and scans, I finally heard the word: PCOS. Polycystic O***y Syndrome from my Doctor 😢😢I felt crushed, like my body had betrayed me..
But I refused to give up. I went home, started researching and reading articles , and slowly found natural ways to manage my symptoms. .
That’s how I discovered 3 things that changed everything for me:.
Spearmint Tea – This helped calm my hormones.
✨ Vitex Berry – I took one pill daily within 5 days my period returned then I stopped.
✨ Ovasitol – I love this soo much, tasteless, just add into my 🥤 morning and night and it helped regulate my ovulation and made my cycle steady again.
Alongside these, I reduced fried and fatty foods, embraced healthier habits thou not very consistent and little by little… my period became regular, my hormones stabilized, and my hope returned. 🌸
PCOS doesn’t define me, and it doesn’t have to define you either. It may not have a cure, but it can be managed. And there is always hope 💙
