Yesterday, Bloomhope Foundation participated in a one-day Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and Key Informant Interview organized by the Ekklesiyar Yan'uwa a Nigeria (EYN) in partnership with Norwegian Church Aid (NCA). The engagement brought together youth-led and women-led organizations to explore effective strategies for integrating Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) into multisectoral humanitarian and development responses.
The discussion aimed to inform the development of a comprehensive training module that will strengthen the integration of ASRH across sectors, ensuring that adolescents and young people have improved access to accurate information, quality services, and protective environments.
At Bloomhope Foundation, we remain committed to advancing adolescent sexual and reproductive health through strategic partnerships and evidence-based community engagement. Through our Lafiyan Jiki Project, we continue to leverage the expertise of healthcare professionals to educate communities on key SRH topics, dispel harmful myths and misconceptions, and promote positive sexual and reproductive health practices among adolescent girls and young women.
These interventions are currently reaching communities across Konduga, Kaga, Mafa, Maiduguri, Bama, and Ngamdu through regular radio programming on Rising Star FM, creating an accessible platform for life-saving information and meaningful dialogue.
We appreciate EYN and Norwegian Church Aid for creating this important platform and look forward to continued collaboration in empowering adolescents and young people with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive.
