The Executive Secretary of the Borno State Drugs and Medical Consumables Management Agency (BODMA), Pharm. The delegation comprised top management staff of UMTH, distinguished Senators, and members of the House of Representatives.

During the visit, Governor Zulum expressed deep concern and heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their families, reaffirming the government’s support throughout their treatment and recovery process. BODMA Executive Secretary Briefs Media on Preparedness for Civil Servants’ Formal Sector Health Scheme in Borno State.

Earlier today, the Executive Secretary of the Borno State Drugs and Medical Consumables Management Agency (BODMA), *Pharm. Dr. Umar Abdulkarim Abubakar*, held an interactive session with members of the media to brief them on the Agency’s preparedness for the implementation of the *Formal Sector Health Insurance Scheme for civil servants in Borno State, under the Borno State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (BOCHMA).*

During the engagement, the Executive Secretary highlighted the strategic role of BODMA in *ensuring uninterrupted availability, efficient management, and transparent distribution of quality drugs and medical consumables across health facilities participating in the scheme.* He emphasized that adequate structures and systems have been put in place to support the smooth rollout and sustainability of the formal sector programme.
