🌹🌹Hepatitis B is a serious liver infection caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV), transmitted through contact with infectious blood or bodily fluids (s*x, needles, birth).
Acute infections last less than six months, while chronic infections can last a lifetime, potentially causing cirrhosis or liver cancer.
Vaccination is highly effective for prevention.
Causes and Transmission.
✅CAUSE: The Hepatitis B virus (HBV) attacks the liver.
✅Transmission: It is transmitted via blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. Common routes include:
Birth: From infected mothers to newborns.
Sexual Contact: Unprotected s*x with an infected partner.
Needles/Sharps: Sharing needles, syringes, or accidental needle sticks.
Personal Items: Sharing razors or toothbrushes contaminated with blood.

Many people, especially children, show no symptoms. When symptoms occur, they may include:
- Jaundice (yellowing of skin/eyes).
- Fatigue and fever.
- Abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
