Here are 6 healthy ways to eat chia seeds, in line with common dietitian advice:

Add to oatmeal or pap – Sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons into your breakfast for extra fiber and healthy fats.

Make chia pudding – Soak chia seeds in milk or unsweetened yogurt for several hours or overnight.

Blend into smoothies – Add 1 tablespoon to a fruit-and-yogurt or vegetable smoothie.

Mix with yogurt and fruit – Combine chia seeds with plain yogurt, berries, banana, or other fresh fruit.

Add to salads – Sprinkle them over salads for a crunchy, nutrient-rich topping.

Use in homemade meals/baking – Add them to homemade whole-grain bread, pancakes, or muffins.

Important: Chia seeds absorb a lot of liquid. If you're not used to them, start with about 1 tablespoon daily, drink enough water, and increase gradually if tolerated.

Here are 12 blood-sugar-friendly snack ideas that include fruit. The key is to pair fruit with protein, healthy fats, or fiber to help slow the rise in blood sugar:
🍎 Apple + a small handful of almonds
🍐 Pear + natural peanut butter
🫐 Berries + plain Greek yogurt
🍓 Strawberries + unsweetened yogurt
🍊 Orange + a handful of walnuts
🥝 Kiwi + cottage cheese
🍏 Apple slices + boiled egg
🥑 Avocado + a small portion of berries
🍌 Small banana + peanut butter
🍉 Watermelon + a handful of nuts
🥭 Small portion of mango + plain Greek yogurt
🍍 Pineapple chunks + cottage cheese
Food tip: Whole fruit is generally a better choice than fruit juice because it provides more fiber and is usually slower to consume. Portion size still matters, especially for sweeter fruits.

WHAT 30 DAYS OF GLUCOSE MONITORING TAUGHT ME ABOUT MY DIET & EXERCISE

Have you ever wondered what your everyday meals are actually doing to your blood sugar?
Wearing a glucose monitor for 30 days can reveal patterns you may never notice from how you feel alone.

Here are some important lessons:
🥗 Your food choices matter. Some meals can cause a much bigger rise in blood glucose than others.
🍚 Portion size matters too. Even foods that can fit into a healthy diet may raise glucose significantly when eaten in large portions.
🚶🏽‍♀️ Movement can help. A short walk after a meal may help your body manage the rise in blood glucose.
⏰ Timing matters. When and how you eat can influence your glucose patterns.
📊 Your response is personal. Two people can eat the same meal and experience different glucose responses.

The goal isn't to fear food. It's to understand your body, build healthier habits, and make better choices consistently.
Food is information. Your habits leave clues. Pay attention to them. ❤️
