On the recent viral posts about the COVID vaccine. Here are facts:

1. If you took a COVID-19 vaccine and are healthy today, there is no evidence that you should panic.
If you chose not to be vaccinated, that does not prove the vaccines were harmful. Individual experiences cannot replace population-level scientific evidence.

2. Hundreds of millions of people worldwide received COVID-19 vaccines. Serious adverse reactions occurred, but they were rare and were continuously monitored through vaccine safety surveillance systems.

3. COVID-19 vaccines were never claimed to be perfect. Their primary goal was to reduce severe disease, hospitalization, and death; not to guarantee that nobody would become infected.

4. The vaccines have known risks. Conditions such as myocarditis (especially in younger males after mRNA vaccines) and very rare clotting disorders with some adenoviral vaccines were identified because safety monitoring worked. Public health agencies updated their recommendations accordingly.

5. The benefits outweighed the risks for the groups for whom the vaccines were recommended. Multiple studies from different countries consistently found substantial reductions in severe illness and death, particularly among older adults and people with underlying conditions.

6. Science evolves. During the pandemic, recommendations changed as new evidence emerged. Changing guidance is not necessarily proof of deception. It is how evidence-based public health works.

Finally, Dr. Anthony Fauci's legal and political situation does not change the biological evidence. Whether he is praised, criticized, investigated, or ultimately cleared, the effectiveness and safety of COVID-19 vaccines depend on decades of scientific research and ongoing data, not on the reputation of one individual
