DO NOT BE IGNORANT!

A first-time mother once came to the clinic with her 7 year old child with stiff joints and muscles, couldn’t sit upright because of poor neck control and had severe difficulties in walking.

During the early months after giving birth to her baby, she had asked elders around her what could be the reason behind her baby’s inability to sit and talk properly but was told it would wear off after sometime.

Weeks turned into months and months turned into years and she hadn’t gotten a solid answer.
Meanwhile, she started noticing that people were no longer as close to her as before.

Until, she was advised by a new member of her church (who happened to be a Radiographer) to visit a physiotherapy clinic as her child could be a Cerebral Palsy patient.

She took the advise and started her son started his sessions with us at Grace & Grit Physiotherapy and Fitness Clinic.

After a few weeks of consistent treatment, her baby was able to sit upright and she is now more than happy and grateful for the little improvement she sees everyday!

❎ It is even seen as a curse from the angry ancestors or witchcraft or a result of crimes committed by parents.

✅ Children with Cerebral Palsy are equally gifts from God as other children their age and should not be neglected.
