The Bayelsa State Primary Healthcare Board (BYSPHCB) witnessed a significant engagement as representatives from JSI discussed the vital role of immunization in our communities.

The State Immunization Lead for JSI emphasizes that vaccines are a historical triumph in disease prevention. Not only are they safe and effective for children and adults alike, but they are also provided free of charge at our healthcare facilities. Immunization is a fundamental right and a powerful shield against life-threatening illnesses, including the HPV vaccine for young girls to prevent cervical cancer.

We urge all parents, guardians, and community members to visit their nearest primary healthcare center today.
