“Why is ego bad?”

News flash it isn’t...
until it is. ;;)

Below: An exchange I was having with some religious type as it pertains to the subject/context of this page, or my assertions about 'Awakening'. As always, as a Serious Seeker: take from it what you want/need and leave the rest for ‘others’ to cry over ;;)

> Why would the ego be any bad?

I never said it was.

> Any concept is ego in the end.

No they are not.
What do you mean "in the end"? The end of ..what? Eternity!? ;;)
You are probably referring to some intellectual conclusion or some kind of logically ascertained premise 'in here'.

That’s not ‘in the end’ that’s ‘in the mind’ ;;)

Do you see?

> Why would we strive for no story? Why not find a way to make a good story?

I never said: "don’t strive for a good story." There’s nothing wrong with what, from the awakened perspective, is called ‘sleeping’ (not the greatest term for sure btw) at all.

The dream is fine

…UNTIL IT ISN’T.

When ‘it isn’t’ you are going to feel it. Every damn day. THAT should bring you here, looking for answers as to what TF is happening to you. Or maybe it brings you to some other sub ...or you wander into some silly satsang session, whatever..

point is: The seeker is ‘born’.
Something has 'awakened'. And
so the search begins.

If you are NOT here (or engaged some place else with a similar context) because of THAT; you are simply window shopping and you will possibly even do more harm than good to your not so seriously seeking self. Because if you don’t have ‘the bug’ …that ‘splinter in your mind’ then you are here for one reason: because you BELIEVE there is something ‘to get’, or so you think.

Maybe there are some nice lifestyle goodies or some divine wisdom goodies to get out of it. Right? ;;)

But ego is 'here' too, making sure you get something out of it. Or, again, SEEM to get it, because, ultimately, there is nothing to get.

Ego ITSELF doesn’t even have any real substance to it.

But don’t take MY word for it. Investigate!

Point is, that you are still not ready to nuke your entire (so called) life, to get rid of Self for good. To AWAKEN. You are on some spiritual safari trip at best. ;;) You are STILL looking for a new costume.. not for a can of gasoline and a box of matches.

So to your point: sure. Ego is fine (I guess).

Unless you want to awaken. Then you have to study it in all its aspects. Dispassionately. Relentlessly. Because it will do everything it can to keep you from sniffing out its bag of dirty tricks designed to keep you from opening your eyes for real ;:)

Ego and fear are your roommates.

While one is chatting with you in the kitchen the other is asleep in your bed. Or vice versa.

Ego will go as far as kill you if that is what it takes for it to continue on for a few moments longer. Ego’s final dramatic act is to fake its own death. AKA 'Enlitenment' ;;)

You don’t want to end up as a cartoon on a cartoon graveyard. Or die with a huge questionmark as your tombstone. THAT is what awakening is all about.

> Even Jesus talked about creating a good story!

If there was such a man he too was misguided at that point still.
Go ahead. Be satisfied with stories. See where it leads you. Certainly not out of this place friend.

Waking up is unfolding stories, unfolding the myth of Self. Not feeding it more candy. That is all that I am saying friend. I am saying it in the context of this thing you seem to be after!

What are YOU saying IN THIS CONTEXT?

“Well Jesus said…” or “read verse so and so, one two three for five section so and so…blah blah”. How are you ‘on topic’ and I am not?

Nah.. ;;)

Anyway, let me ask you this:
How do you know what Jesus even talked about?

No really?

Someone told someone that someone said something right?
How does that work?

It works on account of BELIEF. Yours and ‘others’.
You see, If you cannot know a thing FOR REAL - in your bones - first hand - intimately- the second, Third and fourth best thing is apparently to resort to *believing* in it, no matter how absurd.

I’ll take option 1 over that any day ;;)

I’m not an iconoclast mind you, the Bible has its merits..
few as they are. I’m simply trying to make a point..

We really have no way of knowing but let’s suppose Jesus was real, (I’m fairly convinced there was such a dude) but it would still be some dude saying some s**t back then not unlike you or me now.

How are you going to verify what I claim or Jesus claims if you satisfy yourself with the mere belief or disbelief in it?

Do you see?

> He was all about the kingdom of God. Live lovingly and have faith and the good will come was his teaching.

That’s is all great and dandy friend and if you want to believe that - go right ahead. How am I stopping you from any of it? But, it is still a BELIEF and no belief is true. A belief is just a belief. You don't KNOW something! And in stead of finding out what that is you choose to belief SOMETHING. it presupposes the absence of knowing the truth! Waking up is about becoming true.

Becoming that truth.

Belief is a toxic and dangerous attitude toward reality! After all, if something is really there it doesn't require your belief, and if it's not there - why should you believe in it?

If Jesus was true (or became true) then why should you be satisfied with merely believing in that over becoming true your damn self? Is Jesus somehow more of a man than you? Above you? Or some guru? Are there only a handful of God-men while you are …what? Chop liver? ;;)

The more you start examining how belief truly works how fear works, how it keeps you down and not rises you out of the ashes of illusion and delusion the more you start to stand apart form 'the flock’.

Awakening is FREEDOM from delusion.

The more you REALIZE the truth of what it is I speak of the more you will become 'No longer FROM it'... still in it, sure, but it has been seen how you are in fact not FROM it.

It's not a balloon you pop. It is a balloon turned inside out.
The air is what you are, the inside of the balloon is the vacuum.

I am simply pointing out to you how religion works. How dogma works. Like fools; we all believe , and then someone else gets to control us with it. Rinse and repeat. Behold the age old human condition. It never ends.

Whatever Man is; He will create a society that reflects THAT.
Not the truth of his predicament. A feature not a bug.

It is very effective.

We are in our 100th millennium of it at the very least (if you believe in time still) ;;) I Am simply talking about actual enlightenment in a page about ENLIGHTENMENT. Sue me. ;;)

This may come as a shock to many but spirituality or religion or anthing that ends with ‘ism’ really have nothing to do with any of it.

Contrary to what many will …believe you can be awake in the dream and it is an unimaginably better experience because of it. You'll be "alone with the Gods and the nights will flame with fire" ;;)

It speaks to total dedication to a creative path or a life goal, no matter the personal cost or hardship. Going all the way means facing rejection, hardship, and doubt as a simple test of your grit. Pushing through the pain brings a rare, burning triumph that feels sacred and alive

But I digress.. ;;)

Cheers my friends

NO BELIEF = TRUE
And you can take that literally

I often forget how hard is must be to 'fathom' non-dual awareness (and abiding in it eventually ...maybe ;;). It's pretty hard to explain beyond using endless metaphors (something that becomes tiresome after a while as well). I can actually only tell you what it is NOT. Neti-Neti and all that.

The lack of a proper reference frame and the lack of proper lingo in (most) modern languages out there does not help either. Some languages have 100 words for snow and none for 'Truth Realization' (I don't like the term 'Truth' either but in my awakening delirium that is what rang true the most. Like God, The Universe and Awakening (the actual process alone) it will mean whatever it means to the person according to where it lives in their minds. Even if the definition matches it would still be lacking the ..felt presence of direct experience...

You turn into a BUM of sorts. I can tell you that ;;)

The statements in the image are from Jed McKenna's trilogy on the on the subject.. the first three books 'they' wrote. Basically also the last three books I can claim I ever read...

There was no more need left for me to read ANYTHING else after perusing them. Every pointer, every example felt like it was coming from my own mind. "The DamdestThing" indeed.

Since I don't come from a spiritual background it did feel 'cursed' to.. me... aka the me that is not me at all ;;)

I don't know how rare that is. All I knew at that point that something about all these sunshine spirituality books (like Tolle's for instance) felt completely off. They just did not smell right and a few chapters in it simply struck me ..why that was so. People sometimes tell me about books they read (and love) but often from the title alone I go "Ugh.." inside. Still I urge them to consume these books and feel all the feelies they have FOR them. Sometimes simply finding peace or some new goal or balance in life is all they are after anyway. Enlightenment is much further down the road and you really have no say in the matter. It will whisk you away whether you like it or not. I can tell you I certainly did not enjoy it at the start. But I also know that there is NO COMING INTO BEING without PAIN. This is what most people will actively avoid. Pain and a debilitating sense of being lost... but I digress.

Although I am still curious and might skim some book here or watch some video there. Mostly pe***ng the author or subject about two or three pages/minutes in as “not there at all”. Or “close but no cigar” or... 'didn't finish his work” or "Still holding on for dear life or to 'some thing' or “Maya has them by the balls again…” ;;)

It comes effortlessly as well. As everything does. NO thinking required. I can smell a clown before his floppy shoes are anywhere near me. It’s true. Conversely no clown can see the truth of his own predicament - ever.

I can also smell an awakened individual no problem. It might take me two or three minutes though. That’s all. It works the other way around too. 100%

There’s very little to say to each other though.. ;;)

So why even talk about Jed again? Shut up, I rarely speak about him anyway, so let me. ;;)

He's dead now so there's that. I actually did talk to the man and it immediately disproved all my suspicions. It's quite something to talk to a REAL being. I'll never forget it. You could sense it right away: bro looked right through me.

His favorite responses? “Hm.. Is that so?” or “Hm, I see..” but mostly: “…so” or “so the f**k what?” 😂

He also taught me that most people waste their time on irrelevant spiritual pursuits or ‘answers’ in stead of doing real self inquiry (or as he called it “spiritual autolysis”

I'd figured after one and a half decades someone else would have written something similarly earth shattering or something just as powerful. But they have not. There are really few books out there that are not laughably fallacious at their core when it comes to this subject matter. I've seen NONE since 2007.

Tolle writes about a ‘new earth’ in stead of no f**king earth at all. ;;)

NONE! It should make you pause and reflect on how rare TRUE Spiritual Enlightenment (and ABIDING IN IT.. this is the key thing) really is these days. It does not sell books. it simply does not. Humans are not primed to consume the truth. It’s all lies and BS that propels the human forward (as it should) ..only when your gut is already churning and you feel like love is dying inside of you are you ever going to pick up and understand a real spiritual books.

"The sickness runs deep these days my friend" .. some mystic I met ONCE, once told me. I forgot what else we even spoke or talked about. It happens a lot. I forget whole conversations still.

"Oh yeah that's right we discussed , then and then..." if I'm even lucky to remember it like that ;;)

Some people get really hurt when I admit it too ;;)

Nobody likes to be forgotten.
But that’s enlightenment for ya.
I have forgotten all about myself too if it is any consolation ;;)

Of course, the yapping, dancing clown I still am on the ..inside cannot seem to shut up about the subject. What strikes me is how literally, completely and PRECISELY my own awakening matches theirs/his. Not in a metaphorical sense alone. Literally.

I literally had almost ‘the same awakening'. So to speak. It was not 50 pages into my firsts serious spiritual book ('The Damndest Thing') but about fifteen pages or so. I had already gone through the 'madding, feverish, clawing search' EXACTLY as described by him before I even knew the guy existed. By page fifteen the thunderbolt literally hit me. EXACTLY as describes. Weird s**t. Coincidence. Maybe.. who cares. It was the end of the end. I woke up like someone might 'wale up' from a 4 minute DMT trip. The world took on a candy colored haze... it felt unreal, corny even ..some of the cliche's were true I guess. The world looked 'cartoonish' and extremely familiar at the same time. Looking in the mirror I marveled at seeing myself with my own eyes for the first time. Who is this guy? This went on for years... I guess now it is integrated or something. Nothing changed. It still looks the same. Unreal. I also became fearless. I mean completely fearless.. not in some self destructive sense.

I did finish the books but there was really nothing in there I contended against. It was already done. The finishing of the books was just me trying to be respectful or some s**t… none of it felt hard to comprehend at all. So I did read the books but only AFTER awakening.

The path towards my awakening was also strewn with epiphanies, mysticism and coincidences that are too ridiculous to not smile at the Universe about. The universe has a real sense of humor about it. Jed would call the Universe "not unlike a playful puppy'... there is also a reason that specific dog is featured on the cover of his books..

Anyway, these three books come highly recommended if you are a SERIOUS seeker. But ONLY if you are, because the hit damn hard. The truth is like that. Unflinching. And most people who have been soaking in Sunshine Spirituality for decades will surely throw them against the wall a few times. Most Tolle readers will not even dare touch these books as the eviscerate fake (unbeknownst to themselves) gurus and false teachers.

It's not an easy read when you start to realize this MF-er is telling the truth. Warts and all.

Still: It's a hell of a job killing a man.

Anyway.. just rambling because some... thingies happened IRL that got me to look at some of his stuff again. Don't debate books. Consume them. Don't think about the writer.. ask yourself if what is in there is true. Or find another book.

There are not many good ones out there concerning the death of self process btw. Ego death if you will.

Know these things.

“We all get what we need when we need it. If the universe has set you in front of me or put this book into your hands, then in all likelihood you are closer than most to honestly confronting the stark reality of your situation.”

“This book isn’t about the evolution of the soul or the relationship between higher and lower self, it’s about abiding non-dual awareness—spiritual enlightenment.“

“If I were to reduce this book and my teachings to their essence, I would say it all comes down to nothing more than this: Think for yourself and figure out what’s true. That’s it. Ask yourself what’s true until you know.“

“This isn’t my teaching, it’s the only teaching and this is just my way of delivering it. If we were to strip out the excess in this book it would probably be a tenth the size and would just be my way of saying what any enlightened guy would say. It’s not personal. It’s not regional or ethnic. It’s not a Western Christian’s version as opposed to the Inuit Shaman’s version or the Tibetan Buddhist’s version. It’s not on that level. What’s true is true regardless of region, culture, planet, galaxy or dimension. It is what it is and I’m just the guy who happens to be saying it right now. If you put ten books by ten enlightened people together and stripped out the excess, they’d all be the same. That’s how it is at the core. The reason for all the excess is that there’s no saying it directly because there’s no it**, so everything has to be communicated indirectly—what it’s not, what it’s like—never what it is.**“

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. This book is more about getting to that First Step than the rest of the journey. Once you’ve begun there’s no stopping or turning back.“

“When I look at my own life, my own story, I look for the pattern, the unifying theme, the sum of the parts that explains my existence.”

“I really have a thing for epiphanies. They’re my raison d’être, so to speak.”

“My thunderbolt epiphany came in my late twenties, around fifty pages into reading my first book of a distinctly spiritual nature. As all good epiphanies should, this one struck my brain like a bullet of light and redefined my entire life in a single instant. The realization was nothing more or less than this: Truth exists.”

“I did my time. I spent thousands of hours pouring through every spiritual, New Age, metaphysical and esoteric book you could name, and quite a few books on religion and Western philosophy too, using the knowledge in books to fuel an unquenchable internal blaze.”

“I severed all ties—no job, no friends, no family—and had only a few possessions. I did nothing else. I had no other thought. I went for long walks, thinking, pounding away at whatever door I was stuck behind at the moment.”

“And then one day after a couple of years of this I was suddenly done. Just like that: Done. Although I didn’t think of it in these terms, I had become enlightened, satori'd, awake, truth-realized, a Jnani, a Buddha, whatever you want to call it. Getting the hang of this new state, however, would take me another decade.“

(red: it is not really 'a state' btw)

“That’s where I am now. Empty space is my reality. The void. No-self. I abide in non-dual, non-relative awareness. This is the part that can’t be explained. I can’t frame it in words even for myself. No one can say ‘I am enlightened’ because there is no ‘I’ to it. There is no such thing as an enlightened person. The person writing these words, the person that speaks to the students, isn’t the enlightened one. My personality, my ego, what appears to be me, is just an afterimage; a physical apparition based on residual energy patterns. Jed McKenna is like the outfit an invisible man wears so that he can interact with people without freaking them out.”

Don't settle for 'Enlitenment'. Go after the real thing. And yes, it requires you to NUKE your life. All of it. In the end you will find that you only lost what was never even yours.

TRUTH, at any price. Learn to read but BETWEEN the lines and take the person who wrote the thing AND your damn ego out of the equation completely. If you even can.

In the end, Jed was also right about one thing most teachers will never tell you:

"ALL will arrive..." Death squares all accounts. so there's that as well.
But you don't want to be dead while alive only to find out in the end. Anyways, I digress...

Trust me: This thing is real. AS REAL AS IT GETS.
You want to 'know' you can live forever and ever. You want to be AWAKE for most of it.
It's the only good fight there is. So get cracking! By any means necessary.

If you do in once. ONCE is enough. Forever.

"Belief is a toxic and dangerous attitude toward reality.

After all, if something is really there it doesn't require your belief,
and if it's not there - why should you believe in it?"

~ Terence Mckenna

Word.. ;;)

Heaven & Hell, God, Jesus, Karma are for children.

Nothing is exalted or holy at all.
Just TRUE or UNTRUE.

REAL or UNREAL.

You can reckon with the Truth of your predicament only.

REASON is not the way out at all. You cannot REASON your way out of the dream at all. To try and use the very instrument that creates the problems to then solve the very problems it created is ma

dness. It does not knock you out of the feedback loop.

The truth is far more simple. Humans are 99,9% emotional beings by design with some token capacity for reason. It is not a bug but a feature. The point is to wake up. Not to get a pat on the back from some jive talking savior syndrome Jesus dude or some deliberately cruel psycho God ff-ing over His creations endlessly ;;).

Ecclesiastes 1:14 (or rather the entire book of Ecclesiastes) should have been the whole damn Bible (and it probably was at one point ;;). Better yet; forget all about it.

Every pointer is already a rabbit hole.

Some folks just bring a shovel. To do some more digging when they have clearly reached the bottom of it. Unwilling to come to the ultimate conclusion. The fear of 'no self' is the mother of all fears. But it is already so. Once you see this madhouse for what it truly is, it cannot be unseen.

The only question that is pertinent is asking yourself what it is you are pretending not to know about this little manifestation we've got going on in here. ;;)

It's all bs. All the way up and all the way down. As I keep saying:

ALL IS ILLUSION, except 'That' which know this to be so.

And THAT thou art.

Cheers my friends

This caused quite the s**tstorm on Reddit when I wrote it two years ago. They are still debating it. Let's revisit ;;). TLDR? Probably..

"Waking Up is like sneaking out of the backdoor with nobody noticing it..never to be seen again.

I rail against sunshine spirituality as some kind of awakening or even some kind of middle-of-the-road 'awakening'. It's not hate. Do as you like but when you call it awakening you are simply talking out of your ass. You are either awake OR you are not. There is either NOTHING to content against (not even false awakening) and nothing left to do, or there is. Because "There are no two ways about it". About ANY of it.

Two = FALSE. Not two = TRUE.

You cannot want to be a human being in the world and awaken to the Truth at the same time.

Someone wrote in another sub I believe:

"I tried college & dropped out. job-hopped & worked as an artist. Nothing seemed to satisfy my hunger. i jumped from one thing to the next, one friend group to the next. one part of town to the next. trying to experience & experiment as much as i could until, i had a profound realization: there is no one here, but me."

Fu***ng A.
This is the way.

Because what many folks are actually doing in the name of 'the search for truth' is trying to move away from what it is they already are. You ARE already something. ANY movement in the direction of 'becoming' (or trying to become) anything other than WHAT YOU ALREADY ARE, is the beginning of Self deception ...again.

You cannot sit in your room being angry at the world or some s**t. If you are younger.. probably best to get out there DESPITE your grievances. Put yourself in harms way. Because waking up is not something you 'get'. It is like getting into an accident. It's pretty hard to will yourself into having an accident. But there are several thing you can DO to make yourself 'more accident prone'. Do you see?

In most cases: EXPERIENCING is key. This is why many younger people fail. How are you going to connect the dots when the dots are not even there yet? Or too far apart. There is no coming into being without pain either and this is why many older people fail. A lack of neuroplasticity becomes an issue. Spiritual sclerosis is a real issue. It takes a lot of balls and resilience to chuck four or five decades of 'Selfing'.

When you are suffering, more often than not the one causing the all the fuss is none other than your out of control self.

The path analogy will only take you so far as well. The map is not the territory. It never was. You are trying to get somewhere but Enlightenment is right here. Where are you going!?

I am not saying "don't do it" mind you. I am saying look at what it is you believe you are doing.

There is no cure for this false journey. We all fall for it. But Nature has provided pathways that takes us out of it again. Or 'back' so to speak. By 'knowing' WHAT YOU ARE NOT the false journey ends and you will find yourself 'back where you started'.

It's ...perfect ;;)

The other thing that often stands out in people lamenting the whole thing is nihilism, heartless or 'not kind to other's' in some way or another is this insistence on including the world and then presuming you are transcending it. The assumption that somehow something being harsh (or hard) points towards something being amiss.. not worth the effort, unkind, devoid of love or impossible. This too is not so.

It is a harsh piece of business we are dealing with here and anyone who claims it is not does not know what he is talking about. "It's a hell of a thing, killing a man.."

It is a means to an end. Call it whatever you want. Incredibly selfish even. Because that is EXACTLY what it is. But when it is all said and done you will only see what IS when the self is not there. If you were a bastard before awakening, chances are you will be bastard after awakening too.. or at least keep playing one ;;) If you were a cuddly, lovey dovey type that role too you will probably allow to let itself play out.

Everything is happening. At no point does anything happen to You.

In the end there is never going to be anything BUT the dream friends. Happiness is having a good dream. Suffering is having a bad one. WAKING UP is getting out of the dream altogether. Be it temporary ('now you know') or permanent ('duly noted'). Do you see?

There is also no other place. Heaven is right here. This is the paradise of man. They paved it, sure. But there is only THIS. The Kingdom of Man is Within. And it is no more real than Middle Earth. It is no less magical than A Galaxy Far Far Away. There is no other place, at best there is 'not a place'. If you want to 'ANYTHING' you are wanting it in here and you are going to 'get it' or fail to get it right in here. If you want to wake up you are going to have to try and 'do it' in-here. And then you might realize how there is paradoxically nothing to do. That by 'not doing' nothing remains undone.

Outside of the dream there is 'not this'.
You can be in it and at the same time realize you are not FROM it though.

The tweaking and tinkering of the Self is not 'the way'. Do as you like, go where you want, 'be' who you want to be. I literally could not care less about it. ALL I am saying is the moment you call it Enlightenment you are DEAD wrong. The whole thing is a hollowing out of the very Self many presume they must fill with some more BS. Underneath the Christmas decorations there is nothing but a regular old pine tree my friends.

Knowledge moves out so that (eventually) it becomes possible for the truth to move in.

EVEN IF EVERYTHING IS ILLUSION (AND IT IS) THERE STILL HAS TO BE SOMETHING REAL, SOMETHING TRUE THERE THAT IS ABLE TO ESTABLISH THAT FACT. Without that one single Truth no lies can even be established. And it is that Truth 'That' thou art...

Cheers my friends

21/02/2026

In the midst of my 'awakening' (or whatever) someone showed me a piece of text. Seemingly out of the blue. It read: "The moment I realized I had nothing - I had EVERYTHING" or something to that affect.

I will never forget it. It was the thing that sent me over some kind of edge even though I did not recognize it in that moment.

Arguing around The Truth by invoking fear-nonsense and fear-nonsense terms and concepts like Nihilism, or 'loveless' or 'detachment' while at the same time seeking a thing that has NONE OF THESE QUALITIES is unfathomable to me...

Like trying to squeeze strawberry flavors (or lemon lime) out of 100% pure uncontaminated water. The intellectual debates about it - while fun - share the same folly. It is trying to appease the mind by proposing that what appears withing the intellect is somehow on par with The Truth. Truth can only be conceptualized along the lines of intellect.

The end.

The intellect is a condition. A STATE. Not a 'forever thingy' ;;) It is its own magical place. You ENTER it to look at some believe or another always. You LEAVE it to enter Truth.

'Existence' ITSELF is a fancy misnomer for the dream state. It flips the Latin origin of the term on its head and thus makes the dream more primordial... more compelling than the truth.

'Exsistere' or 'existō' are terms that used to signal 'a stepping out' of something not the other way around. To 'stand forth, emerge, or appear' is its literal meaning. It entered English in the late Middle Ages appearing around any and all conclusions about life. The 'external' is used against the glib, aloof and those with only the desire to serve (you know, 'most people'-including myself) AND the less fortunate or the 'mentally illiterate'.

Claiming to be hard at work 'expanding the mind' just by shifting its content around will have you look, talk and point at the moon and prevent you from seeing the thing that is glistering behind it in what is (in truth) just a perpetual ecliptic plane. MIND will prevent you from seeing that what seems still and immovable is actually moving about all the time. Maya's Meticulously Placed Mind Companion prevents it.

The light invites those that are bold (or desperate) enough to start playing with their own darkness. One bends, one warps and then one is able to extend 'ones self' in such a way, that one will be able to see The Sun. You have to treat the mind like freaking dough, not a finished baguette that cracks and crumbles with every bite ;;)

And that will be enough.

It will be "All She Wrote" for mind.

The end of its designated job. Forever.

"When you apperceive
that whatever you think yourself to be
is only based on memory and anticipation,
your search ends and you stand aloof
in full awareness of the false as false [...]
When you realize there is no lacking,
the whole world belongs to you."

- Nisargadatta
