PlayFull Living - Simon Magnus Bring a playful attitude into all aspects of life. Whether that is in our friendships, working lives

Every model we have for power is broken, so no wonder it feels strange to play with it in pleasure. But real power isn't control. It's care. It's attention. It's staying with what's here and holding someone as you take them somewhere.

You don't force it, you relax into it. When I relax into my power I can hold you, and when you relax into yours you can let go into the care I'm taking over you. Tender or edgy, you're still held.

That's power play. That's what I teach. Workshops running all autumn. Come play.

A beautiful piece of testimonial from a previous participant to my k!nk workshops.

For me it is all about creating a space that is safe enough for you to explore, safe enough to go beyond shame, safe enough to move at your own pace.

I'm hosting k1nk workshop across Europe over the next couple of months...check out my bio for more info.

See you there

When I first started facilitating, I crammed. Ten minutes of this, fifteen of that, filling every gap like the value was in the volume. It took me years to trust the opposite.

Now, in a k!nk workshop, I might offer two exercises. Just two. And because I give them space, real space, the kind that feels almost uncomfortable to hold, you actually get to taste something. Recently I watched men meet a new submissive part of themselves for the first time. That doesn't happen when you're rushing to the next thing.

It's the same in play as it is in a workshop. The charge isn't in doing more. It's in the waiting, the anticipation, the willingness to stay with intensity instead of breaking it. Slowing down is the skill, and it's taken me a while to learn it.

Workshops and retreats are great places to discover how to do this. They are safe enough spaces that allow you to make mistakes and to experiment.

What if we allowed ourselves to feel unsafe so that we got to experience a deeper intimacy. One where we don't have to perform?

We need spaces we can practice this, somewhere where the stakes aren't so high.

This is especially true with trying new things or wanting to break patterns with things we know well.

That's one of the reasons I offer k!nk workshops. To create spaces where you get to explore what it is like to not perform.

I am coming to 5 different cities from September to November then running a conscious k1nk retreat in June next year. Check out my bio for all the dates.

See you there!

No one ever teaches us to be creative in our juicy times. We're expected to fiddle our way through and just work these things out for ourselves.

Yes creating a space that is safe enough and brave enough for people to actually feel excited to explore their juicy and k!nky creativity isn't easy, it takes care, trust and commitment. But that's exactly the part I love so much.

That's why I create these spaces. Places where you get to explore, without the pressure to perform, just with the possibility of pure exploration.

I have some workshops coming up this autumn in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Vienna and Zurich, check out my link to see what tickles your fancy!

Get in touch if you have any questions.

Much love x

After an amazingly successful retreat in June we are super excited to be able to announce next year's Rite of Surrender!

We announced it on other platforms a week ago and all our super-early bird tickets sold out within 48 hours! So excited!

So, what happens at a conscious knk retreat isn’t about performance, proving anything, or pushing yourself past your limits.

It’s about choice.
Choice to explore power or surrender in a way that feels safe.
Choice to meet parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden.
Choice to soften the armour you’ve learned to wear in order to belong.

When knk is held consciously, with consent and care, it becomes a space for learning, play, pleasure — and real self-meeting.

Not to fix yourself.
Not to become someone else.
But to come home more fully to who you already are.

In June 2027, we gather for The Rite of Surrender at .project in Spain. I'll be co-creating with the powerful .love.

If you’re curious, hesitant, or feel something stirring in your body — you’re welcome to reach out or book a call.

More info in the bio.

No pressure.
Just an invitation.

We tend to hand surrender to the person on their knees. It's tidy that way — one of you lets go, the other stays in charge.

But the longer I facilitate this work, the less true that feels. The moment you're really holding someone, you're being asked to let go of something too: the plan, the ego, the version of the scene you scripted before anything actually started. You surrender to the person in front of you and to what the connection is asking for — which is rarely what you rehearsed.

That's the part that takes the most courage. Not the letting go into someone's hands, but the letting go of control while you're the one holding.

Where have you felt that? The surrender that came with the power, not instead of it.

Q***r Currents, my autumn tour starts at the beginning of September then heads across Europe.

Three nights of q***r ecstatic dance, the cities, each one landing in a live sound bath. Sober, sensual, alive. A room full of men moving however their bodies want to move, then dropping into stillness while the sound washes over them.

Let go, move wild, drop deep. Let the sound carry you home.

Each city has its own voice — violin in Amsterdam, flute in Berlin, shakuhachi in Zürich — woven live into the space by musicians I love.

Come dance. Come feel it.

📍 Amsterdam · 4 Sept — with violin by Jordan Sapphire Jordan
📍 Berlin · 27 Sept — with flute by Roy Amotz Roy Amotz
📍 Zürich · 9 Oct — with shakuhachi by Ramón Oliveras Ramón Oliveras
