The Budhia Foundation is an art commissioning organisation and platform that features initiatives supporting an international array of emerging artists.

As a curatorial endeavour we are committed to hosting and collecting those artwork that engage with intermediality and notions of hi fi and lo fi aesthetics, with a focus on design, art and digital visual cultures within the experimental and dynamic environment of the Budhia Foundation Project Space. The Budhia Foundation will organise a monthly program of curated exhibitions and commission new works by remarkable young artists thus aiding the growth of an exceptional collection.

Budhia Foundation is currently on the lookout for its first artistic commission. We will be visiting the Rungdang at Stadelschule on the 12th and 13th of February. Come have a chat if you’re interested in working with us or have questions about how you can get involved.

The Budhia Foundation is commissioning, curating and collecting organisation that operates out of a Project Space in Amsterdam. The Foundation is a dynamic place for the production and exchange of knowledge and opportunities.

The Budhia Foundation's unique annual program is divided into two seasons- Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. Each season, six artists, whose works explore the same core theme are presented with monthly commissions to make works that get exhibited in Budhia Foundation Amsterdam Project Space for the entire duration of the season.

These works are considered a part of the Foundation's 'temporary' collection. As each commission is built on top of it's predessors, the project space will experience a stratification of artworks that will fossilize the happenings of a particular season.
