Some stories are not meant to be explained. They are meant to be felt.

For Vida, dance has always been more than movement. Her father grew up Muslim in Iran, her mother Catholic in the Netherlands. They both became dancers, and through dance, they found each other.

Years later, dance is still part of Vida’s own language.

Inspired by the words “Come dance with me”, we created this piece as an unfinished sketch, where movement, imperfection and freedom become part of the design. The Farsi calligraphy با من می‌رقصی translates more literally to “Will you dance with me?”, turning the tattoo almost into an invitation.

A meeting point between two cultures, two people, and one language that never needed translation.

Come dance with me.

Mark had achieved a personal goal he’d been working toward for a long time, and he knew exactly how he wanted to honor it.
He had kept a tattoo concept on his phone for more than five years, waiting until the moment felt right. When it finally did, he came to me wanting that idea reinterpreted through my own style , with a few personal details added to make it completely his.

The lion became a symbol of his strength, perseverance, and the changes he’d made in his life. Hidden within the geometry are small symbols representing his four children. Details people won’t notice at first sight.
Half organic. Half geometric.
A little chaos held together by structure.
I don’t usually work from ready-made tattoo concepts.
But when Mark explained why he had carried this image with him for five years, it clicked.
The reference was where the idea started.
His life is what made it his.

Sometimes it comes on four paws.
Sometimes it speaks through the people who raised us.
And sometimes it stays hidden in the chemistry that helps us keep going.

This piece was created for Katja, carrying the names of her two cats, Moose and Loki, written in runes. Serotonin and dopamine weave through the composition as a tribute to her parents, their scientific background, and the reminder that happiness can be both deeply human and beautifully complex.

A year of endings became the beginning of something new.
Not a memory of the chaos,
but a reminder of the strength that grew because of it.

Not every battle is visible.
This samurai is a symbol of resilience, discipline, and the will to keep living. For Joachim, who has lived with cystic fibrosis since birth, this piece carries the weight of a lifelong fight with the body, with limits, with fear, and with the shadow of death.
The characters 生還 speak of returning to life, of survival, of refusing to disappear.
Samurai rising from hell wearing his wounds with pride. They are the marks of everything that shaped him.
A 40th birthday gift.
A tribute to survival.
A reminder that the fighter is still here.

During a conversation with Tom, we drifted from zodiac signs to the strange way they sometimes describe us too accurately.
From psychedelics to ego death.
From shedding skins to being reborn.

Mushroom Alien spaceships became the metaphor.
A sleeve designed to feel like a Psilocybin trip in motion, part spore-cloud, part spaceship invasion, part ritual.

And underneath it all, a quiet reminder: memento mori.
Remember you will die, so remember to live.
To let the old self dissolve.
To come back sharper, lighter, more true.

Scorpio energy, not as a symbol… but as transformation.
Death, dissolve, return.

We talked about the future like it’s already knocking, metal meeting flesh, humans evolving, humanoid robots blending into ordinary days.

We decided to make a crow that isn’t only a bird.
It’s a warning, a guardian, a trickster, a mind with wings.
Half nature, half mechanism, drawn in circuits and geometry, with color that is inspired by the steel when it heats.

Smart. Adaptable. Unbreakable, but alive.

Steady, stubborn, the kind of strength that doesn’t need to announce itself.

A storm for the daily grind that never really stops… the quiet battles, the long nights, the getting up anyway.

The Fu Lions are silent bodyguards , balance, protection, and the parents who stayed in his corner even when life got loud.
In the studio it was just the hum of the machine, blackwash blooming, paper towels stacking up… and this story taking shape one line at a time.
We kept it black + grey, sketchy and sharp, with that slight mechanical edge , “precise and always charged.” And the endless interesting conversations.

Honestly, this is the kind of custom work I live for.
