I left today’s sound bath with one intention:

Take care of yourself this week.

It’s such a simple thing.

Yet when life gets busy, it’s often the first thing to fall off the list.

So consider this a gentle reminder - for me and for you.

Make time for the things that help you feel nourished.

A walk.
A conversation.
A practice.
A quiet cup of coffee.
An early night.

Whatever that looks like for you.

Thank you for a beautiful afternoon and congratulations on your lovely new studio ❤️

Even when I *have* time,
I don’t let myself have it.

A small gap in the day → I fill it.
Phone, planning, “just one more thing.”

Not because I need to.
But because sitting in nothing feels… uncomfortable.

This month’s email is about that.

The habit of filling every second
(and what happens when you don’t).

→ I shared 5 small ways I’m practising this right now

If you want it, it’s in this month’s *5 Good Things*

If January ran you over, this is for you.

You don’t need hours of free time to reset - small, creative moments can be enough.

I’m speaking at a free Creative Self-Care Summit hosted by Hobby Scool (Feb 17 - 19) and sharing a simple framework for creating a personal retreat at home.

✨ Creativity as care
✨ Rest that fits real life
✨ Free to join. Virtual. Attend from home.

You’ll find the free ticket via the link in my bio 🌿

I’m all about deep rest to support your nervous system.

And sometimes… it feels great to smash a medicine ball on repeat.

Regulation isn’t one thing.

It’s knowing when to soften - and when to let energy move.

However you’re welcoming the new year, this month’s “5 Good Things” email is an invitation to let it be a landing, not a launch.

To meet yourself where you are, instead of forcing where you think you should be.

I send this email on the first Sunday of each month - mostly as a reminder to myself, and often to others too.

If this resonates, get it through the “5 Good Things” link in my bio 🤍

I hate it. But I love it.
Five attempts. Zero bravery even now.
A lot of swearing. Some deep breaths.
One very questionable head dunk.

Cold plunges: still not my personality.
But doing it anyway.

🎄 Merry Christmas from the sauna → ice → towel loop.

🤓NERD ALERT🤓 I definitely don’t always make it to the gym… so today I just did what I could with what I had. Full work clothes. Six sparkling-water bottles. Empty office. Chaos, but it worked. 😂

What today reminded me:

Consistency isn’t about the perfect setup - it’s about not waiting for the perfect moment.

If you ever feel stuck because the conditions aren’t ideal, save this as your reminder:

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.

It still counts. Every rep. Every effort.

(And yes… sorry in advance to whoever opens all those bottles next. 🫣😂)

I tried something new today 🤩
My physio has a cryotherapy chamber and let me try a 5-minute session. Here’s how it went:

* 00:30: Inhale-nose. Exhale-mouth. Oh this is eeeeasy.
* 1:00: oh crap. Only 1-minute down??
* 1:30: teeth chattering. Keep marching on the spot!
* 2:00: hair frosting up (like in the 2nd video)
* 2:15: it’s just sensations. They’re fleeting. …but when will this cold stop.
* 2:30: I don’t think I’m gonna make it to 5 minutes
* 03:00: are my armpits frosting up too??
* 04:00: arms and thighs burning. Is this the start of frostbite, are they gonna turn black??
* 04:30: holy crap almost there. Don’t hold your breath. Almost there. Keep breathing. Your brain is cold but still works.
* 05:00: get me the f outta here!!

Talk about monkey mind.

But the endorphin rush after exiting is real! Can’t wait to try another session and see how mindful I can stay. 🫠

PS. The runny mascara at the end 😂😅
PPS. Yup. Socks and slides in a cryo chamber is a HARD look.

Spent the past long weekend checking in with , my dharma and yin yoga teacher, at the calming and restorative

This term was all about the 5 Hindrances and all the ways we get in the way of ourselves.

It’s never easy doing the work of unpicking and unlearning the unhealthy patterns of your life… but it helps when you’re in a grounding environment, surrounded by a group of lovely humans who’ve been working together over the past year.

Some memories from this term. See you again in December!

❤️💫
