In the lead up to the -EAUN26 meeting that starts tomorrow, nurses working in robotics had the opportunity to visit the 'Azienda Ospedaliera di Padova' today. A highlight for Marta Eleonora Marchetti was visiting Palazzo Bo, the historic home of the University of Padua (IT), and exploring its extraordinary legacy in medicine, science and education - including the world’s oldest surviving permanent anatomical theatre. 👇

📣 We are pleased to share a new publication from the Center for Nursing Research and Innovation, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, Italy.

Stoma leakage is more than a technical problem: it can affect skin health, confidence, daily activities and social life. This scoping review highlights how stoma nurses can play a key role through early recognition, individualized assessment, patient education and ongoing follow-up, while also showing the need for more consistent definitions and validated tools to support stoma care.

Do you have a poster abstract, video abstract, research plan, or a difficult patient case you would like to present at in March next year in Amsterdam? Nursing submissions are now open. By submitting your work, you'll have the opportunity to publish, present and discuss your research or nursing practice to a large professional audience.

➡️Poster abstracts can be science-orientated (primary research) abstracts or practice-development-orientated abstracts.
➡️Video abstracts can be distinct and/or demonstrate innovative nursing practice. This could also be a surgical video from a urological nursing point of view.
➡️Research plans should have the aims to stimulate and support EAUN Members when conducting and disseminating urological research.
➡️Difficult cases can be challenging or unusual and interesting cases (resolved or unresolved) on a topic relevant to urology, continence nursing, or a related field. The EAUN will select the 5 best cases.
