Inborn errors of immunity are often first encountered outside specialist immunology clinics. Recurrent infections, unusual inflammation or unexpected laboratory results may be the first clues, but recognising when those clues point to an IEI is essential.

The earlier an IEI is suspected, the sooner the right investigations and referrals can begin. And the sooner a diagnosis is reached, the sooner patients can access the care and support they need.

At Plenary Session 03: Host-Pathogen Interaction, Prof. Iliev will present “Immune Regulation by Fungal Strain Diversity in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.”

Ahead of the Meeting in Maastricht, the EuroFlow Pre-ESID Flow Cytometry Workshop on 13 October offers a focused day for those working with flow cytometry in IEI-PID diagnosis and classification.

Designed for clinical and laboratory immunologists and technicians, the workshop will explore standardised EuroFlow antibody panels, age-related reference data, automated reporting tools, newborn screening, and immune biomarkers in CVID.
