I say that Plantfulness is a form of Mindfulness

Plants are all around us but often go unnoticed. Many people are fearful of plants in case they are toxic. And even more aren’t able to name common plants let alone teach their children which ones are toxic and which are edible and our medicinal allies.

We need plants! But there is a disconnect with nature in general and plants specifically, since we buy our food from the supermarkets and get our medicines from the pharmacy.

Many of us are looking for meaning in our lives without realising that this loss of meaning and purpose actually comes in part from the modern way of life that disconnects us from our natural environment.

I have some Comfrey growing in my garden 🌱

And during a recent trying time where my dog Rosy tore her cruciate ligament and required surgery to fix it, I noticed that she started to eat it 🧐

At first I thought she was chasing the the bumblebees which love the flowers. She WAS chasing them but she was also grazing on the leaves. I would have stopped her had I not known about Comfrey’s medicinal benefits in treating strains and helping mend fracture and broken bones.

This experience reconfirmed to me that our medicinal plant allies grow all around us and impressed on me how intelligent my Rosy is 😉

We are having such a hot weather spell at the moment and the dog roses are loving it 💗 Roses teach beauty with boundaries - this is an important life lesson especially for young women 😉

The rose plant has exquisite petals, perfume and radiates softness but it also has thorns for defense because world is not always a pretty place.

So…. Don’t forget to smell the roses 🌹

Smelling fresh roses, even for a few minutes, may help to support a healthy nervous system by promoting feelings of comfort.

Big Pharma vs. Your Metabolism..
The Multi-Billion Dollar Hormone Illusion...

Have you ever wondered why menopause is suddenly being marketed to us as a corporate emergency? Let’s follow the money.... and take a look at the Profit Machine:

🇺🇸 United States Big Pharma is scaling toward a $16 billion segment revenue by 2030, pulling in an estimated $2.4 billion to $4 billion in pure corporate net profit [2025]. Unregulated US pricing lets blockbusters like Veozah target $1.8 billion in annual sales alone.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom, even with the NHS bulk buying drugs, British taxpayers fund millions in subsidies, pushing England to hit a record 14.7 million HRT items prescribed annually [2024/25].

The industry wants us to believe that aging naturally makes a woman's body inherently broken and permanently deficient. But treating this strictly as a drug deficiency problem misses the real engine behind your health, which is your Metabolism.
