Not Just His First Tattoo, His Whole Story Starts Here

First tattoo, and not just something random he picked off a wall. This one actually means something.

We went for a Tree of Life, strong roots, solid base, everything connected. For him it’s about where he comes from and where he’s going. In the branches there’s a bird for his grandmother, someone he lost but still carries with him every day. That part hit different while working on it, you could feel it wasn’t just ink.

Then we added the white dove, symbol of freedom, peace, and life moving forward. Not stuck in the past, but still respecting it.

That’s what I like about pieces like this. It’s more than just a first tattoo. It’s a story on skin, something he’ll carry for life.

What a difference a day makes.

After yesterday’s crazy moment of smashing my own car window just to get back into my Mercedes, today brought the good ending. I got a reply on the video, and even better, Silvain from Occasion Center Maastricht kept his word and made sure the new window was ready to repair my car.

Really grateful for people who do what they say and help when it matters. Big thanks to Silvain and Occasion Center Maastricht for the fast help and great service.

From breaking my own window to getting it fixed, definitely not the kind of story I expected this week, but I am happy it’s ending the right way.

You will never guess what happened to me today.

My car locked me out like it was done with me for the day. I tried everything, but nothing worked. So I called my garage, because apparently I enjoy making my problems their problems too.

I explained the situation, hoping for some genius trick. Instead they said, Ed, just smash the window, we will replace it later.

So there I was, standing there like a complete criminal, breaking into my own car.

I can confirm one thing, smashing your own car window feels just as wrong as it looks.

Not my proudest moment, but hey, at least the car is open now.
