‘’De essentie van bestaan #10.’’ Mogen we nog zijn zoals we zijn?

Zonder een diagnose, voornaamwoord of vooroordeel.

We vergeten soms dat wij in essentie mensen zijn. En mensen creëren. We creëren mooie dingen, complexe dingen, maar ook echt wel lelijke dingen. En dit is nodig om de wereld draaiende te houden. Om discussie te mogen voeren en kritisch te blijven met zachtheid. We hoeven niet alles te benoemen om het bestaansrecht te geven, want jij bent (er) al.

Dat is gewoon genoeg ;)

Met plezier presenteer ik hier een nieuwe hand poke sheet van de serie ‘’De essentie van bestaan’’. Alle designs zijn gemaakt om te kunnen hand poken. Wil je meer informatie over welk design beschikbaar is?

‘’Wearing a ring is unpractical for us, because we do a lot of rock climbing. That’s why we want a marriage tattoo. We can’t lose it or take it off and we can wear it forever with us’’.

Tattooed these love birds for Marjolein and Roy 2 days after their ceremony. Tattoos are practicaly jewelry you can’t take off and will last forever.

Ear tattoos aren’t for the faint hearted. Neither for tattooists or the person receiving it. But everytime when I get to hand poke someone’s ear it feels for me very special.

Because in the end it still is some kind of face tattoo, isn’t it? Everyime you look in the mirror it’s there. The memory of having the sound of my heaving breathing in year ear too🤪
It’s dedication and intimacy on a way higher level than a tattoo on any placement on the body.

This one’s extra special, because Nina and I worked together 3 years ago and and we developed this kind of friendship I’ve never experienced before. We share our passion/obsessions for tattoos and pierings and we can laugh about the most geekiest stuff😸

Thank you Nina, for being you and carying this forever sun shining in your ear 🌞

When I was in Berlin I went to the Museum of Asian Arts & Ethnology and I came out, besides overstimulated, heavely inspired. It made me realise the ‘’offline world’’ has so much to offer. I got so stuck on the internet. Museums, books, zines… go get the good stuff. The physical, anologue stuff. The now so called ‘’physical media’’.

What a dystopic world we live in, innit?!
