Invisible illness, visible strength. 💚

Living with Interstitial Cystitis often means carrying symptoms that others can’t see.

The pain, urgency, fatigue, and uncertainty may be invisible — but so is much of the strength it takes to keep going.

Every appointment. Every adjusted plan. Every difficult day you make it through. Every small moment you choose yourself.

That strength matters.

💚 You’re not alone. You’re understood.

Can apples trigger Interstitial Cystitis symptoms? 🍏

Apples are often seen as a healthy everyday food — but with IC/BPS, individual responses can be very different.

You are more than your symptoms. 💚

Living with Interstitial Cystitis can make symptoms feel like they take over your whole day — your plans, your energy, your focus, even the way you see yourself.

But you are still you.

You are your strength, your humor, your dreams, your relationships, your small victories, and all the moments that have nothing to do with IC.

💚 You’re not alone. You’re understood.

Understanding Interstitial Cystitis Triggers

One of the most challenging parts of living with IC is that triggers can be different for everyone.

Certain foods and drinks, stress, hormonal changes, physical activity, pelvic floor tension, sleep patterns, and other everyday factors may be associated with symptom changes for some people.

The key is not to fear everything that might be a trigger. Instead, pay attention to your own patterns.

Track your symptoms and possible triggers. Make dietary changes thoughtfully. Find a hydration routine that works for you. Notice how stress and tension affect your body. And give yourself time to learn what your bladder tolerates.

Understanding your personal triggers can help you have more informed conversations with your healthcare provider and make daily life with IC feel a little less unpredictable.

What have you learned about your own IC triggers?

Sometimes you don’t realize…
how far you’ve come until you look back. 💚

The moments that feel ordinary today…
once felt far from ordinary to me.

That’s why I appreciate them even more now.

My bladder says bathroom breaks. 😅🚽

If you live with IC, you know who really runs the schedule. Who can relate? 💚

When you live with Interstitial Cystitis, sometimes you leave the bathroom… only for your bladder to immediately suggest a return visit.
