If you've worked in sports medicine, chances are you've got a copy of Clinical Sports Medicine somewhere close by.

For many clinicians around the world, it has been the go-to reference throughout their studies, early careers and clinical practice.

On 29 June, Peter Brukner, OAM and Karim Khan, AO join ISEPA to discuss the making of six editions, the evolution of sports medicine, and the lessons learned along the way. They will also answer your questions live during an extended Q&A session.

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from two of the profession's most influential clinicians and educators.

🌍 A very important step forward for the international sports physiotherapy community.

This new Delphi study updates the ISEPA Sports Physiotherapy Competencies and Standards, expanding from 11 countries involved in 2005 to 38 countries in 2025, with consensus reached on 296 out of 300 standards.

Beyond the numbers, this work reflects the continued evolution of sports physiotherapy toward:

✅ evidence-informed practice
✅ athlete-centered care
✅ international collaboration
✅ competency-based education
✅ high-quality rehabilitation and performance support

It is also exciting to see projects such as this continue within the ISEPA community, helping shape the future of sports physiotherapy education, recognition, and professional standards worldwide.

Congratulations to all authors and collaborators involved in this important initiative 👏

Today’s the day 🎉

Our webinar with Blaise Dubois (The Running Clinic) is now SOLD OUT for the live session, great to see so much interest in this topic.

Overuse injuries continue to be one of the biggest challenges in sport, so it’s clear this is a conversation people want (and need) to be part of.

If you weren’t able to get a spot, don’t worry! The full replay will be available shortly after the session via the ISEPA website 👉 https://ifspt.org/webinars

We’ll share an update here as soon as it’s live, so keep an eye on our socials 👀

Overuse injuries are still one of the biggest challenges in sport.

For runners, nearly 1 in 2 get injured every year… and that hasn’t really changed, despite everything we’ve added in over the years.

So what are we actually missing?

In this free webinar, Blaise Dubois (The Running Clinic) will share a simple, practical way to better understand load, guide rehab, and support a safer return to sport.

If you work with athletes, runners, or active populations, this is a really useful one.
