Pain changes everything.

The second someone’s hurting, the tattoo, the conversation, the vibe — none of it matters anymore. They just want one thing: for the pain to stop.

That’s probably true for life too. But I’m a tattoo artist, not your therapist, so we’re not going that deep today 😂

Three days. Headphones on. Locked in.

Came to the Amsterdam Tattoo Convention 2026 with an unfinished piece and left with it done. That’s how the weekend went. No distractions, just work.

My client held it down the entire time. Three sessions at a convention is not easy. The noise, the people, the energy all around you and he sat through all of it without a word. That’s a soldier right there.

This is a Chicano piece that started back at the studio in Den Haag and got its final chapter here in Amsterdam.

Watching it come together in this environment made it mean something different.

Grateful for every client that trusts me enough to go through this with me. This is exactly why I do it.

This is a chicano style tattoo of my client as a child, holding a skateboard.

His brazilian roots run through the entire composition, the favelas in the background aren’t there just because it looks good.

The kids you see in the favela streets arent random figures.
Each one represents a different path — smoking, drinking, spraying walls.

Black and grey realism captures that weight in a way no other style can.

When this sleeve is done, the words “Against All Odds” will be woven into the design.

Custom lettering built into the composition, not placed on top of it.

When this design is finished, my client will get a completely unique piece that fits with his story.

This is exactly why I ask people to tell me their story before I touch the iPad.
