✨ **CONTACT IMPROVISATION SEASON OPENING** ✨

29 August | CLOUD/Danslab & Beach | The Hague

A day to dance in and outside the studio—and inside and outside your body—with wind, sand, sea, rhythm, and other moving bodies.

Contact Improvisation was born from gravity, weather, rhythm, relationship, falling, rolling, spirals, weight-sharing, adaptation, and the qualities of nature. During this special day, we will reconnect with these origins through deep practice, playful exploration, and open dancing.

Expect a beautiful balance of movement, connection, relaxation, and community at the amazing CLOUD/Danslab studio—and, weather permitting, on a hidden beach in the dunes of The Hague.

Your teacher 😃 My name is Jérôme and I am a choreographer, teacher, founder of Flow Fusion, former dancer with Batsheva Dance Company and Netherlands Dance Theatre, and co-founder of CLOUD/Danslab.

My approach brings together contemporary dance, improvisation, somatic awareness, and creative tools to create a supportive, playful, and inspiring learning space.

What to expect:
• Flow Fusion practice to awaken the body and nervous system
• Contact Improvisation masterclass exploring weight, listening, contact, and movement intelligence
• CI jam on the beach at sunset, accompanied by the sound of the sea
• Time to relax, share a light dinner, and connect with other dancers
• Closing circle to integrate the experience
• And, if you feel brave… a refreshing dip in the sea 🌊

17:00–19:00 — Beach gathering and light dinner
19:00–21:00 — CI Jam in the beach
If the weather is unfavorable, the jam will take place indoors.

🌊 Petit appel aux lecteurs et lectrices

Après beaucoup, beaucoup de travail, j’arrive enfin à une version de mon roman L’Océan des mondes que j’aimerais faire lire à quelques personnes.

C’est un roman de science-fiction, mais pas seulement : il y est question de mémoire, de deuil, d’intelligence artificielle, de conscience, d’amour, et de ce qu’on accepte — ou pas — de laisser derrière soi.

Je cherche donc quelques lecteurs ou lectrices prêt·es à embarquer dans cette première traversée extérieure.

Je n’attends pas une correction professionnelle ni un rapport compliqué. J’aimerais surtout savoir ce que vous ressentez en lisant :
ce qui vous accroche,
ce qui vous touche,
ce qui vous perd un peu,
les personnages qui restent,
les passages qui fonctionnent,
et ceux qui demandent encore à être éclaircis.

Le manuscrit fait environ 150 pages Word. Je fournirai aussi un petit questionnaire pour guider les retours, mais l’idée est surtout d’avoir des impressions sincères de lecture.
