Looking back and Moving forward🩺

Last year's Caribbean Healthcare Symposium, we explored the theme: Noncommunicable Diseases - From Prevention to Empowerment✨

Together, with the help of Akua🐢, we shared knowledge, exchanged perspectives, and explored how prevention, awareness, and personal empowerment can contribute to healthier communities across the Dutch Caribbean. Because, health starts with you🌿

But the conversation doesn’t stop there…

This year, we invite you to look Beyond the Cycle with Buladó🐬 as we explore hormonal health for both women and men. From fertility and reproductive health to hormonal conditions, wellbeing, and resilience.

AMA's 2026 theme is here: Beyond the Cycle🐬

This year, AMA explores themes surrounding reproductive health, fertility, and hormonal wellness within the Dutch-Caribbean context, for both men and women♂️♀️

Hormonal and reproductive health is more than a single conversation; it is deeply connected 🔄 to metabolism, overall wellbeing, resilience, identity, and quality of life. With the help of our friendly mascot 'Buladó'🐬, AMA will dive deep into these topics.

Through podcasts, accredited trainings, and our flagship Caribbean Healthcare Symposium, AMA aims to raise awareness⚠️, foster meaningful dialogue💬, and highlight healthcare careers🩺, research🔬, and policy✒️ developments related to hormonal and reproductive health within the Dutch-Caribbean community.
