The 79th World Health Assembly (WHA) had our IPSF delegates experience a whole variety of different things! 🇺🇳

See a few of the experiences our delegates made during their time at the 79th WHA in Geneva, Switzerland.

This year IPSF was present with 19 delegates, from 17 different countries, across all 5 of IPSF’s Regional Offices 🌏

🌍 You cannot have healthy people on a sick planet.

On World Environment Day 2026, IPSF reflects on the lessons brought back from UNEA-7, where our delegates explored how environmental discussions connect directly to public health and the future of pharmacy.

From the footprint of AI to the environmental spread of antimicrobial resistance, and from toxic chemical pollutants to the need for inclusive environmental policies, one message is clear: protecting the planet is part of protecting health.

As future pharmacists, we stand at an important point in this chain. Our role goes beyond medicines — it includes prevention, counselling, awareness, and advocacy for systems that keep both people and the planet safe.

Environmental health is not tomorrow’s challenge.
It is already here.
