𝗠𝘂𝗱, 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘁 & 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀: 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻!💪🍻

Just as in previous years, Intracare couldn’t miss the Buffelrun and was excited to join the event once again last weekend! 17 brave colleagues conquered the obstacles of the 8 km or 12 km track. With a lot of motivation and support from supportive colleagues and many spectators, they went through muddy waters, climbed all sorts of obstacles and ran through bumpy potato fields. With a b**r in between, sponsored by Intracare, the cold water seemed only half as bad.

After the run, during the ‘Buffel-Up festival’, everybody celebrated their achievement with a “frikandel speciaal” or other typical Dutch snacks and of course – some well-deserved b**rs!

NO EFFECTIVE WATER HYGIENE WITHOUT BIOFILM REMOVAL

A drinking water system completely free of biofilm seems virtually impossible in practice. Unmanaged biofilm forms a permanent microbiological reservoir that can negatively affect water quality, animal health, and technical performance. Despite the growing awareness of 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲, the role of biofilm is still underestimated on many poultry and swine farms.

Standard treatments only disinfect the water, leaving dangerous biofilm untouched inside the water pipes.

👑 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗘𝗟 𝗚𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗗! 𝗘𝗲𝗻 𝗸𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗷𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗷𝗹𝗽𝗮𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗲𝗸𝗼𝗺𝘀𝘁!

Op naar een duurzame toekomst! 🚀

👑 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗! 𝗔 𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲!
Today is a day that will go down in our history books forever. With immense pride, we share that our beautiful, new production facility has been officially opened!

We had the absolute honor of welcoming Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, the King's Commissioner in Noord-Brabant Ina Adema, and the Mayor of Meierijstad Kees van Rooij for the official opening.

This new facility symbolises what we stand for as Intracare: a healthy and sustainable future. Here, we develop, innovate, and produce completely antibiotic-free and pesticide-free products for future-proof livestock farming and horticulture.

But we could never have reached this milestone without the driving force behind our success: our fantastic employees. Their hard work, passion, and expertise made this possible. As the icing on the cake, we were able to capture this special moment today: our absolute stars, together in a photo with the Queen! 📸

Here's to a sustainable future! 🚀

Looking back on Fjorfedagene 2026

Last week, we were once again present at Fjorfedagene 2026 in Trondheim, a well-attended event with over 300 participants from the Norwegian poultry sector, including farmers, veterinarians, and industry representatives. Notably, about 20% of the visitors were attending for the first time, which shows that the event continues to grow.

The theme this year was Sustainability: how poultry can be part of the solution. Central topics included environmental awareness, longer production cycles, health, animal welfare, and antibiotic reduction—themes that align closely with our vision of responsible and future-oriented animal management. The knowledge sessions and in-depth programs also drew many visitors.

As Intracare we were present with a booth together with our local distributor Mineral-Expressen to address the topics in the local industry and update our customers on the latest developments and solutions.

In short, Fjorfedagene 2026 was once again a successful event with valuable encounters, a confirmation of our market position, and a promising future for the Scandinavian poultry industry.
