I'm so excited to share that I'm launching a new podcast:
The Temple of Fire.
This is a space for truthful, heartfelt conversations about deep inner work, transformation, and what it really means to heal — and to bring that healing back out into the world.
For the very first episode, I sat down with someone I've had the privilege of taking several trauma-informed plant medicine facilitation trainings with over the last five years: Atira Tan.
Atira is a somatic trauma specialist who has spent over two decades helping people find their way back into their bodies after trauma — through her academic training, her own hard-won personal healing, and years of work in trauma-informed psychedelic care.
We go deep.
Her upbringing and personal story.
Her first psychedelic experience. Time spent doing dieta in the jungles of Peru. Why "trauma-informed" needs to be a lived practice, not just a buzzword — and why psychedelics can just as easily amplify our shadows as they can heal us.
It's a raw, honest conversation, and I couldn't think of a better way to open this space.

Watch or listen to The Temple of Fire, episode one, with Atira Tan — links in comments.

“Forty years of pain… gone.
And no amount of therapy, psychology, or intellectual searching ever brought me to the place I reached this week.”

My client looked at me with tears in his eyes and said,

“It’s unbelievable. I’ve dropped 150 kilos of mental weight. I feel like I’m walking on air.
For the first time, I can think clearly and make real choices—for myself, my son, and my partner.”

These are the moments that humble me to my bones.
What happens here isn’t magic—but at times, it feels like it.
It’s the power of committed practice…
of devotion to inner work… of fasting, breathwork, inquiry,
and the ancient intelligence of the medicine.

And yet—this journey could have unfolded very differently.
During the first of four ceremonies, I suddenly felt flu-like symptoms coming on.
A voice inside whispered, “Stop. Rest. It’s too much.
This could be dangerous.”
I knew exactly where that voice came from.
But I also knew I could not let fear steer the path.

So I chose the warrior’s way.

I stepped into a strong Kambo session to purge what needed to be cleared.

It was one of the most challenging Kambo ceremonies I’ve ever taken—it nearly took me to the ground.
But something deeper held me upright.
The next day, I rose stronger, clearer, and fully present for my client. And because of that choice, I was able to hold a powerful container in the days that followed.

On the final day, something broke open in him—
a truth, a clarity, a freedom so deep that we both sat in silence, awe, and deep gratitude.

Moments like this… they stay with you for life.
I never take them for granted.
I bow to the plants, the breath, the fasting, the medicine, and the Great Mystery behind it all.
And I dedicate even more of my work to being in the service of all relations - Mitakuye Oyasin.

Now, after guiding 10 ceremonies in less than 6 weeks, I’m giving myself a few days of rest.
But the path doesn’t stop.
I’m staying on one meal a day—
to integrate, to listen, and to continue walking with the clarity these weeks have carved into me.

Portugal continues to be a sanctuary.
And these private retreats…
They are changing lives—mine included.

I’m feeling truly happy and fulfilled after this weekend’s private retreat and the beautiful visit from Micke and his beloved.

We began with an open song circle, where Micke shared his devotional songs and mantras. Everyone dropped in so deeply. The mind softened, and the bodies began to move from the inside out.
There’s something magical about the way his songs open the heart—uplifting the spirit, softening the armor, and guiding us back to our own true, unique voice.

We then continued into the private retreat with deep medicine work, and this is what I love most:
To witness someone meet long-held wounds with a trauma-informed approach…
To watch the patterns that once sabotaged relationships, family connections, and inner peace finally dissolve…
To witness the truth of who they are beneath all the conditioning…
To see joy return to their face and liberation move through their body and mind.
This work gives my life meaning and purpose. I feel blessed to live this every day.

Private retreats allow us to tailor every moment to the individual—to go deep, to listen closely, to stay flexible in the approach, and to hold steady when old stories rise to the surface.
It’s an honor every single time.

I feel inspired to learn new songs and pick up the guitar more often.
Grateful for this weekend.
Grateful for the courage.
Grateful for the medicine.

A Week in Deep Spiritual Practice

I sit in quiet awe today — heart wide, spirit humbled —
after a week shared in sacred presence with two beautiful beings, Defne and Erik.

Together we walked a deep path:
Ceremonies that opened the unseen
Kundalini sadhana practices before sunrise
Breathwork, body de-armouring, hypnotherapy, and voice liberation — each layer dissolving what no longer needs to be carried.

We feasted on Defne’s nourishing vegetarian creations - the best vegetarian food that I have ever tasted.

We bathed in the river’s cold embrace, and moved through each day in effortless flow — guided by something far greater than us.

These moments remind me why I serve this work.

When hearts are willing and presence is full, healing becomes art — and every breath, a ceremony.

With deep love and gratitude,
Thank you, Defne and Erik.
Until the next time the medicine calls us home.

From burned out, to alignment and earning $130K in two years.

It was grey in Oslo.
Rain on the glass. Wind through the streets.
Another dark morning. Another suit. Another day of pretending.

He was a lawyer — respected, educated, and slowly eroding.
He worked with clients he didn’t believe in
- and for a firm that didn't believe in him.
Inside a system that rewarded masks and punished truth.

He felt it in his chest; he could see it in the mirror.
Every morning - The dull ache of misalignment.
“Fu..k I am late - There has to be more than this.”

He had a hidden dream - To build his own firm.
— To work with truth-tellers.
To lead from his heart, not just his head.
But he didn’t just need a new business plan.
He needed a soul initiation.

So he came.
To a retreat.
To meet what he had never dared to face.
He faced his fears. His conditioning. His old stories.
He cracked open — through his pain to his deep vulnerability.
And in the silence… the masterplant of Noya-Rao came to him with truths, love, and inspiration.

A week later, I got his message:
“Everything is blooming.
My mind feels like a supercomputer.
No cravings. No noise. Just drive.”
📈 His vision sharpened.
⚡ His website came together in hours. He dared to jump!
🔥 His law firm hit $130K in profit two years later.
💎 And now? He hires others to serve with vulnerability, purpose, and precision.

Not just a lawyer.
But as A Leader.
A man reborn.

This is what happens when we dare to embody the soul in the marketplace.
When inner clarity becomes outer action.
The world doesn’t need more busy professionals.
It needs more awakened ones, wild ones with a heart to serve and balls as warriors.

If you know it’s time —
to meet your own truth
to burn the mask
to rise aligned…

We were nearly arrested in Tibet.
Weeks later, I was face-to-face with the Dalai Lama.
This is what he taught me.

The police car stood outside our hotel room.
They could arrest us at any moment.
We had both been arrested before, so we knew what it would feel like.

It was winter, 2008. Ganden Monastery, Tibet. At 4000m.
Outside: blue sky, crisp air.
Inside: monks too afraid to speak above a whisper.
Ten years in prison—for owning a picture of the Dalai Lama.
Still, we filmed. Quiet conversations.

One monk shared that police were bribing other monks.
We didn’t need proof. The squad car outside our door and a big police station next to the monastery were enough.

This was our last day before going to Lhasa.
More spies. More pressure.
Fear tightened in my chest.

I walked up to the protector chapel.
Two monks were already chanting.
The air was thick with incense and there were statues of wrathful deities—faces of death, destruction, and shadow.

I sat.
I waited.
No answers came.

Then - one monk caught my eye.
We looked at each other.
We started laughing.
And we couldn’t stop.

That laugh broke the spell.

Insight hit like lightning:
Don’t take fear so seriously—not even the police or the spies.
Play it like a game.
Respect the stakes, but don’t forget the cosmic joke.
The beloved is always here, even in danger. Even in darkness.
Look at how the Dalai Lama handles the Chinese.

After a long hero's journey with a smile on my face, we were able to meet the Dalai Lama for an interview in Dharamsala, India.

While BBC, CNN, and many others were waiting outside, he grabbed our hands with a smile. Life is too short - let's take a break, I want to show you my garden and then we take a picture.

So to my Brothers and Sisters:
Yes, the shadows are being exposed these days.
But do not lose your joy.
Your healing. Your humor.

If fear has dimmed your light…or you have lost some hope....
Come sit with me.
My next retreat is for those walking with shadows and laughing anyway.
Doors are closing for the UK now, and Norway will follow very soon.

Message me for details—if your soul knows it’s time, or check out my webpage in the comments.

She looked at me like she didn’t know me anymore.
And I knew — this could be the end.

I had tried everything.
Conscious communication.
Ta***ic touch. Even gentle de-armouring.
But the trust was gone.

We snapped at each other, then I left.
Helmet on. Scooter humming.
The sun was shining. The beach was glowing.
But inside me? Chaos.

“We’ve lost each other.”
“What do I do now?”

I pulled over, closed my eyes, and prayed, and ended it with:
“Let Thy Will Be Done.”
Then dove into the ocean to cool the pain in my chest.

I went to a packed local restaurant.
I asked if I could squeeze in.
A woman smiled and opened her arms.
“Sure,” she said. “Join us.”
That’s when I saw the dots on her arm.
“What’s that?” I asked.
“Kambo. A shamanic medicine. Clears your mind.
Strengthens your body.”

Something in me lit up.
This was no coincidence.

“There’s also an aya ceremony in three days,” she added.
“You can come if you want.”
Two hours later, I was signed up.

I came home and told my partner —
And happily, she said yes.
Maybe this would heal us.

Ceremony day.
My intention:
To face every part of me contributing to this conflict.
I was nervous. The medicine hit.

A quiet voice whispered:
“You must leave your ta**ra school. It’s blocking your truth.”

I resisted.
“What? Who are you to say that?”
But deep down… I already knew.
What followed was brutally honest.

Visions of Truth.
I saw how I had lied to myself.
I saw the abuse of power in the place I once called sacred.
I couldn’t unsee it - the curtain was taken away.

It didn’t save my relationship.
But it saved me.

I left the school.
I found my voice.
And for the first time in a long time, I felt free.

Story from Koh Phangan 2015.

If a silent voice in your heart is whispering:
“This isn’t working, or I am blocked.
It’s time to see the truth.”..I get it.

And if you feel called to experience this kind of work, PM me.
I’ll send you info on upcoming ceremonies and retreats.

You don’t have to break down to wake up.
But if you already are —
You’re not alone.

A Deep Calling from the Heart
I have held back some of my deeper personal truths in the last few years.
I no longer found my core message to share.
After seeing and expressing more of the ta***ic shadows, I experienced a spiritual death since it used to be the life I knew.
It was a slow death of many years because I wanted to hold on to my ta***ic knowledge and didn't know where the new path was heading.

Even though it didn't feel entirely right, it gave me income.
I had my friends and community there.
It was where I got my identity, and it served some parts of my personality.
But each time I tried returning to the field or picking up an old strategy, it felt empty or too painful to do, or it didn't work out in the long run.
It didn't align with my heart and core anymore.

At the same time, I have been afraid to share more truthfully about my shamanic path.
I have been afraid to be judged by my partner, family, peers, friends, relatives, and society.
I have feared the consequences - on my income, that I will end up alone, be an outcast, or even end up in jail.
But something deeper has been calling me for years, which is stronger than all my fears.
My deepest inspiration was found in the jungle of Peru.
This autumn I felt I had to go again—this time alone and without my partner.
My heart was aching for the truth - to feel soft in my whole body and feel connected to my soul.
I was once again willing to undergo prolonged periods of fasting.
- Stay in more extended periods of silence.
- Do ceremonies every second day to face my core pain and suffering.
- Still, being able to listen to my nervous system's needs and listen to my bodily needs.
- Be willing to face my shadows and traumas lurking in the background.
- I wanted to renew my commitment to my heart and soul and the loving presence of the master plants to benefit myself and all my relations.
Because when I am true to my heart and soul, I am free and truly loved.
I am also abundant since I am more attractive and attract more naturally since I sense that I am part of everyone and nature.

We are all experiencing a time when massive shadows are being exposed and lived out.
But we are also experiencing a great awakening, where we are invited to find and live our truths and find our inner leader, step up, do extraordinary things, and live extraordinary ordinary lives - deeply connected to our true nature and nature outside, so that we can create a better world where we all can be happy and free.

The secret to a good life is to handle and control our nervous system.
I've discovered this truth in every aspect of my existence - from intimate relationships to personal growth, life purpose, and physical well-being.
When stress hits, and that fight-or-flight response kicks in, we often react instead of respond.
But I've learned that through conscious breathing, mindful awareness, and emotional processing, we can transform these challenging moments into opportunities for growth.
Instead of avoiding what once hurt us, we can face it directly.
Through practices like cold exposure, breathwork, yoga, and plant medicine, we build our resilience muscle day by day.
Ready to dive deeper?
