When you're in a different country and someone in your family suddenly falls ill, it can be a stressful and overwhelming experience.

Recently, Karan and his family were visiting Kathmandu from Kolkata, India, when his sister became unwell. Taking her to a hospital wasn't easy, so his brother-in-law searched online for a home healthcare service and came across Doctors House Call Service Nepal.

Within about 30 minutes, Dr. Udgar arrived at their location, examined the patient, and started the necessary treatment. What surprised the family even more was that he came fully prepared with the medicines and medical supplies needed, so they didn't have to rush to find a pharmacy.

Recently, we received a call from a family in Dhulikhel for an elderly patient who was having difficulty visiting the hospital because of age and health condition.

They found Doctors House Call Service through an internet search and contacted us hoping someone could help at home. Even though Dhulikhel is nearly 30 km away from Kathmandu, our team managed to reach there and provide the required medical support directly at the patient’s home.

We carried our portable medical equipment and performed necessary checkups including ECG, ultrasound, and other evaluations at home itself. The family was genuinely happy and relieved because the patient did not have to go through the stress and discomfort of traveling to a hospital.

Moments like this remind us why home healthcare is becoming so important, especially for elderly patients and families who need medical care in a more comfortable environment.

Recently, some of our team members completed the Gosaikunda trek and proudly carried our Doctors House Call Service banner all the way up to Gosaikunda (4,380 meters). Seeing our brand represented at such a high-altitude and sacred destination was truly a proud and memorable experience for all of us.

We recently did a small free health checkup program around our Gothatar branch area at Kageshwari-Manohara for the local community, especially for many elderly people living nearby.

It honestly felt really good to spend some time serving people in our own community outside of our regular work. Many elderly people have difficulty visiting hospitals regularly, so even a simple health checkup and conversation meant a lot to them.

This was a small effort from our team during our free time, and we are thankful to everyone who came and supported us.

We feel happy and privileged to be able to serve the community around us, and we hope to continue doing more small initiatives like this in the future ❤️.
