The US Embassy is excited to host a virtual panel event in February, "Beyond Hashtags: Mental Health Activism in Nepal". Please join US Ambassador Randy Berry and four Nepali influencers for a timely discussion on how social media has become a key component of civic engagement around mental health and illness, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This panel event is the first episode of the Embassy’s Beyond Hashtags program – a series of conversations with Nepalis on how online spaces are mobilizing a new generation of activists to support movements for greater awareness, equality, justice, and reform across a range of critical issues in Nepali civic society.
