🌱 Healthy Farms. Healthy People. Healthy Future.

Under the Food, Health and Environment Nepal (FHEN) Project, Nepal Public Health Foundation has been actively working to highlight the strong interconnection between agriculture, human health and the environment. In this context, Dr. Abhinav Vaidya, Coordinator of the FHEN Project, member of Nepal Public Health Foundation and Professor of Community Medicine at Kathmandu Medical College, shared insights on the key activities carried out so far and explained why it is crucial to address agriculture, health and environmental sustainability through an integrated approach. He emphasized that promoting pesticide-free and sustainable farming not only protects the environment but also contributes to better public health and safer food systems.

We sincerely thank Dr. Vaidya for advocating this important agenda and for continuously raising awareness on the need to integrate agriculture, health and environmental perspectives for a healthier and more sustainable future.
