Our doctor, Dr. Suman Shrestha, attended 1-hour long continuous professional development training about Thyroid Eye Diseases.

He shares the following message via his Facebook post
“यो १ १/२ वर्षको दौरानमा धेरै थाइराइड स्क्यान गर्न आउने बिरामीहरूमा आँखा अघि आएको जस्तो देखिने हरू धेरैको संख्यामा थिए । मुखबाट खाने औषधिले हाइपरथाइरोइडिज्म कन्ट्रोल भएन भने न्युक्लियर मेडिसिनको रेडियोआयोडिन उपचार गर्नुपर्ने हुन्छ । भर्खरै देखिन थालेकाहरू निको पनि हुन्छन् । केहि ढिला आउनेहरूलाई थप आँखा विशेषज्ञको उपचार आवश्यक पर्ने हुन्छ ।

धेरै नै ढिला भए जटिलताहरू निम्तिन्छन् । ति जटिलताहरू मध्ये एउटा आँखाको समस्या पनि हो, जुन समयमा पत्ता लगाएर विशेषज्ञको मा उपचार गर्न पठाउने गर्नुपर्छ ।
