On 29 May 2026, Himalaya Eye Hospital successfully conducted a Retinopathy Screening Camp at Tanahun in collaboration with The Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT).

The camp focused on the early detection and screening of retinal diseases enabling timely diagnosis, referral, and management of vision-threatening conditions.

CME on Refractive Error Management Successfully Conducted

The CME on “Refractive Error Management” was successfully conducted and completed today at, Himalaya Eye Hospital, Pokhara.

We sincerely thank all the Optometrists, Ophthalmic Officers, Ophthalmic Assistants, and Optical Dispensing Staff for their active participation and valuable engagement throughout the session.

Such programs play an important role in strengthening knowledge, improving clinical practice, and promoting quality eye care services.

Today we successfully conducted an Adult Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program for Final Year B.Optometry students and staff of Himalaya Eye Hospital, Pokhara.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Bishal Gurung and the expert team from the Department of Anaesthesia, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Pokhara, for delivering an informative and hands-on training session on essential lifesaving skills.

Special thanks to Eye Care Foundation for the support and for helping make this program a grand success.
