Today, Himalaya Eye Hospital organized an informative awareness session for its staff on “Sexual Harassment in the Workplace and the Existing Legal Framework.” The session was delivered by Advocate Juna Kumari Gurung, who provided valuable insights into workplace sexual harassment, the prevailing legal provisions, employees’ rights and responsibilities, and the importance of fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

The camp provided comprehensive eye examinations, vision screening, and counseling, with participants requiring further care referred for appropriate treatment.

नेपाल नेत्रज्योति संघ हिमालय आँखा अस्पताल अन्तर्गत गण्डकी तथा कर्णाली प्रदेशमा सञ्चालित आँखा अस्पताल तथा आँखा उपचार केन्द्रहरूको वार्षिक कार्ययोजना गोष्ठी–२०८३ पोखरामा सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न भएको छ। कार्यक्रममा दुवै प्रदेशका आँखा अस्पताल तथा आँखा उपचार केन्द्रका प्रतिनिधिहरू, नेत्र विशेषज्ञहरू, तथा सरोकारवालाहरूको सहभागिता रहेको थियो। कार्यक्रमको सभाध्यक्षता वरिष्ठ अधिवक्ता श्री सुरेन्द्र थापा मगरले गर्नुभएको थियो भने नेपाल नेत्रज्योति संघका महासचिव श्री भरत बहादुर चन्द प्रमुख अतिथिका रूपमा तथा प्रा. डा. दिल बहादुर क्षेत्री, केन्द्रीय उपाध्यक्ष एवं गण्डकी प्रदेश सभापति, र डा. शैलेश कुमार मिश्र, कार्यकारी निर्देशक, नेपाल नेत्रज्योति संघ, विशेष अतिथिका रूपमा सहभागी भई कार्यक्रमलाई सम्बोधन गर्नुभएको थियो। गोष्ठीमा गत वर्षका उपलब्धि तथा प्रगतिको समीक्षा, आगामी वर्षको कार्ययोजना तर्जुमा, समुदायस्तरमा गुणस्तरीय आँखा स्वास्थ्य सेवाको पहुँच विस्तार तथा सेवा प्रभावकारिता अभिवृद्धिका विषयमा गहन छलफल, अनुभव आदान–प्रदान र रणनीतिक योजना निर्माण गरिएको थियो।
