As the energies of the Full Moon in the astrological sign of Pisces swirl around, together with a Lunar eclipse I felt drawn to pull First Light(r) Flower Cards to get some clarity of how I was feeling and what I could do to feel more grounded and present.
My co-ordination at my morning Pilates class was less than helpful and I felt low on energy so I knew something was off or out of balance. My mind for the first part of the class was elsewhere which wasn't helpful. Kept falling off the Swiss Ball!
So here are the cards and the corresponding First Light(r) flower essences that have stepped forward to assist me.
No 4 Marlborough Rock Daisy - Self-Worth. This essence corresponds to the astrological sign of Ta**us and it is where my natal moon sits. Ta**us is an Earth sign and is very grounding which is exactly what I needed.
No 72 Shining Spleenwort - Synchronicity and corresponds to the The Wheel of Fortune in the Tarot major arcana. This essence brings the sense of being in the right place at the right time.
No 115 Bridal Tree - The Maiden - sending out the call for the next appropriate life situation, phase or relationship.
No 101 Horopito - The Past - bringing wisdom from the past to assist in the present. Also reminder to connect with my power animal for support and guidance.
No 80 Raglan Roseberry - Clarity, The Moon in the Tarot and for me the message is to allow my feminine radiance to shine.
No 9 Koru - Understanding. This card/essence oftens comes up for me. As one of the three essences that correspond to the astrological sign of Gemini it helps me to understand what is going on! Gemini is an Air sign and as an Aquarius, also an air sign, I do resonate with the element of air and can get lost and forget to focus on the here and now! So thank you Koru for once again turning up to assist me.
No 44 Kahikatea - Structure - Base Chakra
It is not surprising that this essence stepped forward as my physical energy felt depleted, and why at Pilates where strength and balance is required, was so challenging this morning. Our base or root chakra is fundemental in creating structure, feeling stable and supported and this tree essence certainly brings forth these qualities.
No 70 Hen and Chickens Fern - Strength
Strength is also a major arcana key in the Tarot and today this essence spoke to me about regaining the passion for life and to feel alive.
No 114 Taraire - Initiations of the Mind
This was the card that overlit the other 8 cards and it spoke to me of keeping my mind in tact even when the watery, full moon energy was dampening down my abilty to function and stay present.
I love how the First Light(r) flower essences combine astrology, Tarot, soul healing, shamanism and other ancient wisdom teachings, and how by working with their energy we can come back to a state of balance, as well as have in depth understanding of ourselves and others.
