May is National Blood Pressure Awareness Month, and our team has been out in the community offering blood pressure checks at our vaccination clinics.

High blood pressure often goes unnoticed because there may be no obvious symptoms. Regular checks can help with early intervention, reduce the risk of serious health emergencies, and monitor how well treatment is working if you’ve already been diagnosed.

We offer blood pressure checks for just $5 at the pharmacy, along with advice and guidance on the next steps if your reading is high.

If you’ve been putting it off, now’s the time to get your blood pressure checked — it’s so important to know your numbers ❤️

We feel so lucky to have been welcomed with open arms by so many amazing community groups already this year. We’re also really grateful for the opportunity to share and educate people about flu vaccinations—and we’ve had such a great time connecting and engaging with everyone along the way.

We are on a roll! Another flu vaccination clinic done and dusted with Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust - making sure their senior members are protected for the upcoming winter season.

It was a day celebrating the Sikh Festival Vaisakhi 💙filled with a talent show, some yummy food, sweet treats and great conversations!

We had the lovely Ronan come in the other week for a shift to help us with cleaning up the pharmacy.

Ronan is currently fundraising for his trip to the World Skate Games Championship in Paraguay in October this year to represent New Zealand and is putting in the work on and off the skate track!

What a wonderful day we had welcoming the Korean Positive Ageing Trust back to the pharmacy for their annual vaccinations! With over 180 families coming in, it was great to meet new and returning faces.

We had an incredible time and are counting down the days until next year's event!

We loved being involved at the health and wellness expo at Edgewater Village last week. Being able to connect with our local community, share knowledge and reaffirming to all the residents that we are always here for all their health care needs is truly special to us.

Hello all, with the holidays just around the corner we wanted to pop up our holiday opening times! 🎄

A few pointers from the team:
- Please have a look at how much medication you have left and plan ahead if you need to pick up a repeat or get a new prescription so you don’t run out.
- If your GP is closed during this period we can help with ailments such as UTIs, skin infections, conjunctivitis and much more.
- If you’re going away remember to pack the essentials such as sunblock, insect repellant, analgesics, antihistamines, motion sickness tablets and a first aid kit plus your prescription medication.
- For immediate healthcare advice, healthline is open 24/7 and will put you through to a nurse or paramedic. You can call healthline for free at 0800 611 116!

Your tireless efforts and commitment have yielded fantastic results, and it’s been an absolute pleasure to witness your growth over the past year. We feel incredibly fortunate to have you remain with our team.
